Still haven't updated recommendations. Pretty good app but starting to look for similar apps that have more up to date stories. They take so long to update them. I've seen stories on there that are weeks old. Sometimes they will take stories down and put them back up later on. Another issue I didn't write about last time is the app will randomly crash and close. Happening all the time now especially when I'm saving an article.

I have enjoyed reading form pocket when I have no service. I hate selecting an article to read and finding I can’t even see it without signing with another page (guardian). I will not do that so you are wasting space presenting them to me.

What went wrong?

Used to be able to save tweets and look at them later, now whenever I save a tweet to this app all that gets saved is a picture of the tweeter.

iPhone X support / another bug?

Hi this is the first review I have ever done for an app ever since the iPhone 4. There is a bug I noticed with your app that might be only affecting IPhone X (also you don’t support the format of it yet) regarding logging in. I recently got an error that I’ve never had with pocket before that is not allowing me to save items to pocket. It’s telling me to log out and log back in. I logged out but could not log back in, it is saying its logging in, but then takes over 30 to 50 seconds of me waiting for anything to happen. it fails to login with my username and password that are saved on my device from the last time I logged in. Please fix this. I want to keep using this app instead of having to delete it for more room on my device. Thanks ! REVIEW EDIT : I tried deleting and redownloading the app again and it works 5 stars

Love that my list is back to being the default opening section of the app, but I really do miss the added feature of easy access back to the article I was just reading, and the feature highlighting. the ‘best of’ of my articles

Why not backup on iCloud ?

i started off using apple’s ibooks for saving fanfiction that i really liked. i had been using it for 2-3 years and i loved that it could save stories as PDFs so that if the webpage was no longer available, i’d have a copy. recently, i updated my phone and a whole bunch of my stories were gone and i was so devastated because the webpages have been taken down ),: pocket is a nice alternative to ibooks because none of my files have disappeared! the only small thing i have is that the main interface seems so cluttered and i wish i could put my stuff into categories instead of tags because it looks cleaner and be able to merge different articles because i have multiple chapters of a story but i have no way of connecting them. all in all, pocket is a wonderful app! ?
