It works.

And it gets better at reading you as you read on it. Basic, if you're into basic.

Just use it in Firefox

Pocket is a cool idea, but not worth creating another account with another binding arbitration agreement.

Great App, Business Model Could be improved

My biggest complaints about this app are the pricing and the effect on news sites. I would love to pay for premium, but it’s just so expensive for so little features. I also hate taking away ad money for the sites that are giving me so much content. I think pocket should have a monthly tip value you can set, and they take a portion of it and then redistribute the rest to the sites you read articles from. This would encourage more users to use premium, and benefit the internet as a whole.

Love it

I love the text to speech capability

Not sure why recipes are never intact.

I see a recipe on a website and copy it to Pockets. Then I come back to look at it. Half the time there is narrative and no recipe. That’s not how I found the page either. What is going on? How useless.

Not what I expected...

This is a wonderful app for someone looking to inspire or source information. Often times Facebook and Snapchat lead us into articles that spark curiosity, but then are encountered by countless adds and videos. This app is for anyone who loves to learn, loves to read, or wants to start doing so. I absolutely LOVE this app.

Just put it in your Pocket!

Pocket is the best! It’s amazingly convenient to save programs and articles to refer to later, especially with the awesome Chrome extension. I also love that you can organize your saved items using categories and tags - super helpful! I recommend Pocket to all my readers and clients.

Excellent app

I really enjoy the articles suggested to me as well as the ability to save something I find for reading at a later time. Really great app, now complaints!

Great app. I like the new read aloud feature using text to speech but wish you could change the parameters, such as voice. One annoyance: even though I have "show scrollbar" turned on in preferences, it still does not show the scroll bar in the main list screen. Makes it very hard to see where you are when you have a long list. I also wish there were a way to delete articles within the article view screen rather than having to go back to the list view (didn't we used to be able to do this?). Makes it easier to accidentally delete the wrong article! UPDATE: you can tap the gear icon in reading view set the voice to, say “Aaron,“ but it uses that voice only for the headline, then switches to a more robotic female voice for the article text. This does not happen, however, if you choose “Always use off-line voices“. Then it uses a compressed but still pleasant version of a male voice.

Can’t live without it

My favorite read-later app. Frees up time I would have spent browsing at work and ensures there’s always something interesting to read on the way home.
