What happened??? Before the last update, my rating would be a perfect 5 stars. Now the app crashes all the time & the challenges expire way too early before I usually even get a chance to play or finish them if I get the chance to start one. Also the plant store became a lot worse, taking away too much stuff & plant prices are painfully slow to load, saying buy instead of loading the price, if it even does load it. This update needs an update!

items from store won't download. It took a long time for the app support page to load (and I have fast internet)I am frustrated that I can buy content, but it won't load. I wish I had money to throw away, but I don't. I work hard for the petty amounts I earn. The content I ordered was supposed to be a gift for my kid, and it has turned into a nightmare because I can't get it to download.

Some random player went against me and I thought he was a noob. But boy was I wrong. He beat me by 500,000 points. That’s impossible. Adventure is better and all.

Instead of helping with the update, you guys made it difficult to collect the suns, gems, and money. It’s hard to navigate the worlds and the piñata bonus is now extremely rare. Please fix this!!!

The newest version with Battle Z has issues. The app somehow screws up the orientation of my iPad after watching a video for coins or sometimes playing a game — the orientation turns 180 degrees. Also, the game seems to zap more memory has it hangs my iPad Air 2 from time to time. Lastly, the new battle Z is very boring even though you are competing against others — I play the game much less now without Epic quests. I hope PopCap issues an update soon to fix these issues or I will probably stop playing it (have been playing consistently for several years now, but this may be too much frustration at this point).
PVZ Battlez isnt very fun.

Just downloaded the Mar 18 update with the Battlez option. Very repetitive and not very enjoyable. I either win big or lose very big. Would prefer to have the old quests back.

I used to have the game, but I wanted it back after a couple years of not playing it because it was too hard and too unfair. I thought after a couple years of not playing it, something would’ve changed my first review with this game and after people constantly said that the game was too unbalanced and unfair. I honestly had to agree with everyone who said that. Now, I’m back, restored all of my purchases, played a few of the hardest levels in Modern Day to find the same thing: The game is still WAY too unbalanced. And the premium plants, still almost $5 PER PLANT. I am exasperated by the greediness of the company, because I had the game when IT FIRST CAME OUT. I was super excited for what was to come in the future, and trust me, it was exciting and fun, until the levels got harder and harder, up to the point where the difficulty was WAY too unbalanced, and I would need to spend soooo many coins on power ups. When Modern Day came out, I was excited for the final chapter but only to find that I was wrong. The difficulty had ramped up even more than before and was harder than ever, to find myself being swarmed by zombies practically almost every level. And then that’s when I deleted the game two years ago. It’s such a superb game in almost every way possible because the graphics and concept of the game are amazing, never like before, but with the problems that I have listed (and the community has listed the same problems for years now....) up above, it has torn me. This game was great, and now I’m not so sure...........

This game is amazing I completely recommend it to anyone, but has a couple problems. first way to much micro transactions, in the first pvz all the plants were free or optional but in pvz2 I have to pay to get the chomper 5$ for one plant. Second it’s one of the top charts on the App Store and still has no iPhone X support.
