I have been using this app for years and have been pretty satisfied with it. It is pretty good for helping me figure out what I’m seeing in the night sky. However, just found what I consider to be a significant flaw. I wanted to confirm my assessment of the Moon’s phase, viz. that it is about a day before the full Moon (i.e., a waxing gibbous). The app confirmed that tomorrow is the full Moon. However, it called tonight’s phase a waning gibbous. That is not correct. Waxing means growing. Waning means shrinking. Therefore, waxing phases come before the full Moon and waning phases come after.

Great app for finding location of constellations and planets. Wish it had more interaction regarding stars and constellations but still an exceptional app. Accurate and fun to use.
