Love the app on my iPad but, when using it on my iPhone there is no categories for me to choose from.

While other social media accounts continue to add on features, Pinterest continuously takes away more and more. You used to be able to like pins which was a great way to interact with people you followed or give feedback on a collaborative board. Now the explore option is gone and it used to give you new ideas that kept you interested. Now I find myself wanting to browse for food or craft ideas but it’s no longer an easy click to look through a broad subject. These broad explore options gave me inspiration to further look into ideas and kept me on the app much longer. These are just two of MANY features to be stripped away over the years. The updates only take more away instead of improving the experience. It’s just becoming more and more disappointing.

What started out as a nice app to save recipes and home improvement ideas has now become one more place for hatred to spew. The comments get out of control and also I detest the “recommendation” pins. Several years ago it didn’t do that. Also my number ONE complaint is why the heck does it keep crashing???!!

I am a huge lover of Pinterest, but sadly I am getting more frustrated with it. My biggest frustration is with them taking away the explore categories and putting everything thing on the home page. For example, I liked going to the fashion category and seeing all different fashion pins. now I have to look through tons of other pins like sewing, food, movies etc to see some pictures of clothing on my home feed. I would really love if they returned the categories.

I wish that the app would allow you to pin something to multiple boards at once, instead of pinning to one board at a time. Otherwise love my Pinterest app. So much fun and inspiration!
