Fun, fast. Easy to figure out, but quickly becomes challenging.

Just ok

I've been playing this since launch (about a week).... Graphics: The graphics are great. The background design is nice and not distracting, but it severely lacks variety. Weapons system: The upgrade system is nice and simple, but it needs better balancing. I upgraded the main blaster and missiles exclusively and ignored all upgrades for the beam and satellite, and found that I was an overpowered flying death machine. While that can be fun, the repetition of the levels made the game drag. Having a reason to upgrade the beam and satellite would greatly benefit the gameplay. If perhaps specific enemy ships required specific weapons (i.e. The beam and satellite) then there would be a much needed incentive to upgrade those weapons. Controls: Perfect, spot on. Don't change a thing. Overall: A great start, but it needs updates to keep players engaged.
