Important notes - PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING:
- When you encounter a Flash website, REMEMBER TO CLICK ON the "Lightning Bolt" button to enter Flash streaming mode. Otherwise, you will see the standard Adobe message that Flash needs to be installed or upgraded as you are still in the native browser mode. Only by explicitly clicking on the "Lightning" button will you then be able to view Flash content.
- If you have a slow Internet connection such as over a slow 3G network, remote browsing feature may have slow performance even though we have made great technological improvements to support Flash over low bandwidth. Flash mode works best over Wifi in a broadband network. Just because you have Wifi does not mean you have a fast network. Wifi is fast enough but your bottleneck is the wired connection that your Wifi sits on. However, you can still use Photon as a fast native browser for your regular browsing.

Didn’t work for online training

With no one supporting flash player on iPad I gave this a try. But the online training course for my job that uses flash wouldn’t work on the iPad with Photon. Also, the Photon interface is clunky and hard to use, it resizes and jumps around hiding the areas where you need to enter information. I will have to complete the training course on my computer. The bottom line is courseware developers need to stop using flash player in their courseware.

I paid for this app years ago and it hasn’t worked for me in I don’t know how long. I feel taken advantage of and it’s not fair. Why hasn’t this app been fixed yet?!?! It doesn’t even load anymore!!! ????

Hey, so I just want to warn you all, there is “photon” and there is “photon X Pro”. There is literally no difference except the “pro” version costs money. ALSO flash support is a paid monthly subscription which IS NOT STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION. I basically wasted 2.99 buying the pro version so I wouldn’t have to pay monthly. Otherwise, the free version works remarkably well. It’s a little janky, but not as bad as puffin pro. Whenever your free trial is up, you can literally just redownload for another, and it takes a whole 20sec to delete and redownload. I am going to rate the free version a solid four stars in contrast to this review.

Photon is very outdated!! Do not buy all versions X or regular free or paid!!! It has never been updated since last reviews , I don’t understand why Apple hasn’t made their browser FLASH friendly yet? I have an Ijpone11 pro and this is like dinosaur mode for me had to delete !!!!!!!!!!!and I got fooled into getting the PRO version as if it was better !!! Why does APPLE still have these useless APPS!!!

I need Flash to watch live streams from a shared Nest camera. Still haven’t found a good browser yet. This one technically works, but is so incredibly slow that I see 1 second of video before it goes back to loading for another 5 minutes. Useless.

There’s one big problem I have with it and I know this can be easily fixed, every time I go to a different app it just resets, this wouldn’t be a problem if I could go back to the page I was on previously but nope it just resets everything, other than that it works fine .
