The Lite version has a few limitations compared to the full version
- the Lite version is limited to 2 photos only
- the photos you are exporting to the Photo Library or by email with the Lite version come with a watermark
The next updates will also have more features available only through the full version.
It is really nice but the full image "watermark" makes it veritably unusable. Not a real good marketing strategy to establish good will, unless I am missing how one is able to delete the watermark.
I imported a kitchen image from a job I did once before, and used the image as a test for this product. I was able to layout the entire kitchen cabinets ( uppers and lowers ), the dishwasher, fridge, and lighting in under 30 minutes. I emailed it to myself as a test and it arrived within seconds. This program ( LITE VERSION ) will put a watermark across your images until you purchase the Full version. SO WHAT !!. This program is definitely on my must have list. Very easy to use, very clear measurements, top quality emailed picture returned, interface is so easy to use. As a Licensed General Contractor, my clients are going to really love seeing instant answers and results with this program.
This app crashed shortly after I made any notations (multiple times), but even in the short time in which it worked, it did not seem very useful.
Draws lines and numbers over photos, denoting measurements, then exports to Camera Roll with an ugly dealbreaker watermark. Instead, use a general-purpose drawing program, like DrawCast, or just a text note like H 34" W 48"
That being said, I do have a couple of suggestions. 1. Remember the color for each tool type, text, angle and arrows. I want black on text but yellow on arrows - for example. I don't want to keep having to switch colors each time I switch tools. 2.remember font sizes for each tool. Same deal. 3. Export names using picture "catagory-picture_title.jpg" 4. Higher rez photos. 1k is nice but why not full Rez? I've got $4.99 for you when ever you are ready. I'll cast "my measures" into the virtual trash bin. Your draw tool is slicker.
Just snap an iPhone pic of the measurements. until the app is tweaked and retina is supported I'll save my 5 dollars.
Works great Need better tutorial in the free version Then I would understand it enough to upgrade
