It was my favorite money app, for years, and just this year money will just come up missing from my balance, no notifications, no reason, just gone ??♂️, so I went from 5 star to one star in a few months, they also are siding with the scammers which makes it impossible to do the business transactions properly that they want to charge you for! Here we’re going to charge you so you can get screwed by a scammer , wait it gets better! , then we will side with them 99/100 times.
Takes way too long holding the money

I understand waiting a few business days for payments to come through especially on shipped items. But for transactions that are done in person and don’t require a shipping label, the 21 day hold should not apply. If Venmo can issue money directly to your bank account within 3 business days tops then there’s really no excuse why PayPal shouldn’t be able to compete
Cash load limit.

New to PayPal. It’s an okay product but I don’t like or understand why there is a $500 max on cash loads? Makes no sense and is highly annoying. It just comes off as a really ticky tack way to soak more money from the process. Why engage in this level of greed? If this is how PayPal treats its customers, I am frankly inclined to seek out a competing product that doesn’t place arbitrary limits and additional inconveniences on my financial transactions just as an excuse to skim more money from me.

I downloaded PayPal two or so years ago for Depop. Initially, it was super easy and practical. Eventually, I started to have lots of issues with the customer service and with transactions in general. The first issue was a dispute was filed against me as the buyer claimed they didn't approve the purchase -- mind you this was months after I had already shipped the product-- and despite my efforts to contact PayPal through messages and calls, they were of no help. They told me that the dispute will be resolved and the evidence I offered was helpful and they still ruled not in my favor and I ended up having to pay the buyer $60. Out of my own wallet. And, I didn't even get my product back. Eventually, I kind of got over that, then grew so many more issues like difficulty with refunds and such. After all these awful experiences and THE WORST customer service I decided to deactivate my account. I hate PayPal and Venmo is a way easier, cheaper, and accessible money transferring app.

Locked out, can’t get help. App says to contact them. Just keep going in circles. Waste of time. No existing customer service phone number I can find. Totally frustrating.
I will not buy cryptocurrency until you open up my wallet

how do you for one second think that it’s OK to let us buy crypto with PayPal but not let us transfer it around?!?!? start giving us interest on our cryptocurrency 8% on BTC and 5% on ETH and let us transfer to other wallets.
