Pretty good street map. On the plus side, it shows the Metro stops, parks, museums. On the minus side, it badly needs search but I suspect the data base it relies on may just be pictures. Maybe not. Pinch works to zoom in and out, it is reasonably fast, but you have to know where you are to use it. Double tap zooms in. Needs to remember position when you quit so the next time you open it you are at the same place.
Ok it'sjust a street map of Paris, nothing mire nothing less. Pricey for what it does but I bought it in anticipation of the promised GPS feature they are now testing. As far as a street map goes it is OK Difficult to navigate if you don't know where you are. Doesn't remember where you last left off so every time you open the app you have to start from the beginning and try to navigate to your current position. I'd wait for the promised GPS feature before buying this app.
I bought this after utilizing the google maps app on my wife's iphone 4 which of course is completely unfair. That is a dream. I expected this to be a caveman version of that, essentially like an ipod touch pocket map and nothing else. IT WASN'T EVEN THAT GOOD! Whenever I scrolled or, better yet, tried to scroll, the screen basically freaked out and shattered off into three or four separate blocks of screen images never to return together again for at least a minute if not longer, IF EVER. I will never use it again. It was useless. I am sorry I bought it and I dearly hope no one makes the same mistake. Just awful!!!!
