I especially like being able to group sections together, import PDFs, and the option to send stuff from Safari browser directly to Outline.

The main reason I bought this app was to use it for handwriting... Alas, writing on this app is nowhere near onenote. It is too slow.

Frustrating as hell to use

Change the size of your font, and it won't stick Pages move all over the place when scrolling, up and down and side to side.

I wanted to buy the Mac version, but when I redownloaded the iOS version, I noticed that the handwriting component leaves much to be desired. Problems: 1. Noticeable and distinct lag from stylus-strokes to your handwriting appearing on-screen. Rather than the writing motion being captured in real-time, the "ink" trails behind the actual writing. Very poor writing implementation. 2. Stylus-strokes don't translate accurately onto iDevice. 'Nuff said.

Just know if you zoom in on text, you can't select it by touch or pen. i've emailed the developer and they've said they have no plans to fix this. the bug makes it unusable for me.

I've been using Outline for a while on the Mac and jumped at the chance to be able to synchronize my notes across my Apple devices without having to store my data on Microsoft's cloud. This is a full featured app with great support. I highly recommend you give it a try and see if it works for you.

Ive tried almost every note taking/organizing app - finally I found Outline+. I am an original OneNote user on PC - so the concept of text, images, pages, sections is familiar to me. Outline+ supports all of my existing OneNote Notebooks and creates new ones. You do NOT need to have OneNote - but it does compliment this (Outline+) product. Well worth the $$. I have never had a crash or even and error. Great support too. This is how apps are supposed to be !!

USED TO BE a good app

I've used this app for a year in my Masters program. Yesterday it stopped working. I am unable to get my files and the process to contact the develper doesn't work either. I loved this app, but to have communication be a problem?! What century are we in folks?
