How it works:
1. Install the OrderAhead iPhone app.
2. Add multiple credit cards to simplify personal and business purchases.
3. Browse full menus of local restaurants, create your order, and select a pickup or delivery time.
4. If you order delivery, your food will come directly to you! If you're picking up, just tell the merchant your name and be on your way.
You can currently order ahead from select locations around the nation. Cities include San Francisco, Berkeley, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Sunnyvale, San Mateo, San Jose, San Carlos, Stanford, Los Angeles, Venice, Santa Monica, Washington D.C., Seattle and Denver.

Tried to use this app when we needed delivery for convenience and were on a time crunch. They missed 2 items of my items and all they offered was a refund. I was left without food for my 2 year old with no time for a back up plan.

I use this at a few places almost always. It's really hard to get to those places in the app. The app prioritizes featured places, even places that are currently closed, over the places I use almost daily. Order Ahead is about saving time, and it takes too long to get to the places I have order from. I end up ordering the same thing all the time from previous orders simply because I can't get to the location to browse other items on their menu. I did give more stars if I could favorite a place that I go to and see that place above all the other stuff in the app that's featured.

App suggests a number of locations are closed when in fact they are open. Apparently, the developers believe nothing is open on New Years Day.
Restaurant isn't getting my orders and I show up anyway

Multiple times the restaurant has had printer/internet issues so they did not receive my order, but the app acts like my order is ready at the pre-planned time even if it is not actually ready. So on multiple occasions I have shown up expecting my food to be ready (because the app says it's ready) only to have to start from scratch when I get there. The restaurant does its best to catch up quickly after getting my order on the fly, but it would be nice if the app accurately reflected what was going on (e.g. if the restaurant could somehow confirm receipt through orderahead so I would know if it wasn't going through). It's annoying that the app acts like everything is being prepared and then ready when it's not.

Glitchy app, nonexistent customer service, questionable drivers. Do yourself a favor and download another food delivery app!

This app is fantastic, I'm surprised it didn't get much reviews...maybe it is a well kept secret?! I used a lot of other apps, but this one is the best: super easy to use and incredible fast service. Their support team was also super reactive when I had a problem with my phone that kept me from ordering from their app.

Personally, I'm not a fan of waiting too long for my lunch on my lunch break so this app is definitely one I use daily! For anyone with a packed schedule this is a must have!!!
