Easy, Dare I Say Fun!

I've never really enjoyed my Friday afternoon administrative tasks like logging expense reports. Not only does this app make it super easy to log expenses while I'm traveling and things are top of mind, but it's actually kind of fun. Most of my customers can't believe all I have to do is say "taxi ten dollars" or take a picture of my lunch receipt and I'm basically done.

Absolutely the one to have!

This is a great application for busy travelers. All you need to do is keep taking pictures of your receipts and let the application create the expenses for you. Pretty cool!

Works well!

The app dos what it says. There are more features desired and some limitations which can be resolved in subsequent releases. Credit Card integration is one of the very sought after features among the clients. The limitation of using iExpenses only from one Oracle Responsibility could be overcome. There are people who may need to travel to different operating units and expense things using different responsibilities. Connectivity is not as easy as it looks. Sometimes, it takes some cajoling to get in. However, I can perform most functions of iExpenses from here which is why the 4* rating!

Ok, but not mature enough

The app is okay, but when it actually gets down to integrating with your ERP app, there are too many limitations. It is a potential 'supplemental' tool to Oracle's online iExpense tool, but the cool features the app has don't seem to flow through to the ERP, so the benefit is completely lost. For instance, it integrates with your calendar so that you can bring in names from a calendar invite or your exchange contacts, but then they don't flow through to the actual submitted expense report. If there is an audit requirement for that and the expense audit is done from within the ERP system, then you're non-compliant. Also, the syncing between app and ERP is too limited and one-sided. Hopefully Oracle will invest in further improvements. Until then, I don't see our company considering this app any further.

Limited functionality

The app does have cool features to track expenses, but it’s not able to replace desktop version of Oracle iExpenses. Would be nice to see daily Sync option and also sync back expense report statuses or expense reports entered on desktop into the app. Would be nice to see it better integrated with R12 in terms of policies, receipts requirements etc.

Needs a lot of work

After saving tons of expenses, one day while adding a receipt, the app crashed and I lost everything. Tried restarting the app and my phone and all I ever got was a white screen. Left me no choice but to uninstall the app and reinstall. Problems like this and losing all the work make it impossible to be productive. Also please update to work on 6+ phones.

Do not download 5.0.2, it has a critical bug
Greg Newman

There is a bug Oracle has admitted to that essentially renders the app useless as it won't allow new Corp card transactions or approvals to sync (as the bug is with the sync feature for a data category, mileage policy, that occurs before these other categories and causes a failure).

Instantly Crashes
Empty User5539!!

This is a pretty terrible app. It instantly crashes when opened not only on my phone but on my co-workers phone. When you enter a meal, it constantly asks you how may people are in your party. If you say one, it makes you always type in your name. It should have your own name defaulted. I think the developers would do themselves some good if they actually sat with people who actually use this app so they can see how frustrating it actually is to use. This current version couldn't have even been tested because it instantly crashes when you try to open it. Disappointing at best

Just terrible
Matt Nazzy

Crashes all the time. Sometimes it won't even open. Constant errors. Just worthless.

Still crashes...
Sukuzi

Can't open without crashing. Rebooting does not help. Wasn't very good before the "update"...still isn't.
