Just downloaded Optiscan and tried to read the same codes my husband just read with FREE barcodescanner for his droid. His scanned every code and optiscan couldn't read a single one. Why did I pay for this????

I've spent much of the day trying out the various free scanner apps out there, and also purchase this one. I'm not disappointed. It has scanned all of the codes I've created so far VERY quickly and accurately. Nice job!

I wasn't doing anything too complicated but it created barcodes from my contacts perfectly. A non iPhone scanned it with no issues.

Downloaded it yesterday, deleted it today!

Can't make QR code of geo location, only of contacts, web url, and text. It can decode from photo album QR codes made by other apps, but it won't save its own created QR codes to photo album, so you can't really see if the code that was created has the info you wanted. It's very limited in features. I bought it on sale for $.99 and I really feel sorry for those who paid $1.99 for this crappy app.
