After downloading OME Viewer, open the message in your email app, tap and hold the attachment, and choose 'Open in OME Viewer'.
Requirement: iOS 6+ (all devices)
ZERO STARS. Downloads half attachments, stuck on passsode loading screen. UNBELIEVABLE WAISTE OF TIME. We use this to seng business secure email to clients. This is unable to open attachments, clients are angry. BAD software.
Tried this on an iPad Pro. Forced to use the one time code option, the sign in using Microsoft account option was not even visible. Tried twice. Each time got the message “sorry, unable to open at this time. Try again in five minutes. “ Useless in iPad. The option to use this viewer was not even visible in the email message on the iPad. The only reason I knew it existed was because it was visible on my PC. Worked similarly on PC, but I had both options. The Microsoft account gave the stupid “sorry ....” message once, tried it again immediately, and it opened.
Gave it a 2 star because all who have taken statistics know that high and low are canceled.
The Does Not Work app from Microsoft, well, does not work. If I follow the instructions displayed by the OME app, using gmail on an iPhone 6+, tapping the encrypted attachment brings up a view that prompts for a login. When you select login, it displays “loading” and you never get prompted to enter an email address. Eventually, the text “message.html”is displayed on the screen and you’re hung there. Great job on QA, folks. A complete waste of my time. CW
Somehow the police can't open an encrypted file but this little app can so I'm satisfied
This app would send me a passcode, and I would immediately follow the link, only to be told repeatedly that the pass code was incorrect. Tried manually entering, and the same thing happened. Worthless to me.
I couldn't get it to download once one device and it was lost after that.
For something that handles secure information you'd think it would work or if atleast if it's from Microsoft it would work semi well... it's worthless. Won't send emails for on time passwords and when I sign in it won't let me view my message...
