Number Bonds: Addition & Subtraction to 99

Your students will beg to play these engaging games—racing the clock or each other, or they can “play” on their own. You don’t have to tell them that what they're really doing is practicing number bonds (aka fact families) and developing mathematical reasoning.

Great for first grade

This game is easy to use and very cute. It has a timer feature that is adjustable so your child can learn at his own pace. It also has a multiple player option which is fun. I would only suggest more animal options to make it even more engaging. My daughter loves birds so this is great, however she ADORES dolphins and ponies and would probably play this game all day especially if the animal did a funny trick or noise when you got the answer right.

Very pleased

I am a homeschool Mom working with my daughter in Singapore 1A. This app is perfect for teaching and memorizing number bonds. It has 4 different "games" to practice number bonds. I like the variety. My favorite feature on each of the games is you can limit what number bonds to show up very specifically using a two-sided sliding bar. So, if you want to limit it to under 10 you can do that, or you can even just limit to a single number's bonds, or number bonds 5-8, or however you want. Each game has its own limit, due mostly to how the game is designed - the first game goes only up to 10, the second up to 20, the third and fourth up to 99, but all of the games have the sliding bar so you don't have to have your child work on all those numbers, just the ones you specify when you start the game. You can also limit how long you want your child to play the game - anywhere from 15 seconds to five minutes. The interface is pleasing and seems professional. My only (small) complaint is that the main screen has a very large ad for a different game, one that my daughter will not be ready to play for a long time. I'm worried she might click on it, which can be a bit of nuisance.

Fantastic!

This app is exactly what I was looking for to help my daughter with her fact families. I love that I can use the sliders to select just one number to focus on. The only changes I would like to see are the option to advance to the next problem automatically after clicking "check" rather than having to press "next" and maybe to access settings from the main menu that would then apply to all games.

Good app needs rewards

This is a great little app for teaching children number bonds. Very cute with four different game options and good control over settings, etc. However, this app really needs rewards/incentives to break up the learning and keep them interested. For example, many games allow a child to pick a "sticker" for every 5-8 problems they answer correctly. Please update this app with that feature!

App is broken under iOS 8
MagnoliaFan76

Tried to contact the company via email, and got no response. Tried the 800 number on their website, it's a generic line for other services they sell... No option for tech support. The webpage that iTunes links to is dead.... Don't waste your money.

Does not work on iOS8

Angry ominous

How can SDE does not have support for latest iOS? That too for paid app?. Update ASAP! I wonder how can Apple approve apps which does not work on latest OS and that too it's more than 3 weeks. There should be some refund policy for such I convenience for paid app!
