The app is apparently my problem with the door starting to close and then opens. This is a problem for me because I don’t have a “clicker” and got used to checking on the status remotely. If I forgot to close the door, the app was great for closing and providing feedback that it had, in fact, closed. Now, I ONLY have a problem with it closing when using the app. If I use the wall pad or my wife’s clicker, it works fine every time. The app needs to be updated/fixed. LiftMaster myQ

There’s no point in having a watch app if it tells me to login on my phone all the time

I installed a WSLCEV-P1 switch to control driveway lights, with the intent to operate the lights from local dusk to dawn. The MyQ app is a little tedious to enter schedules. In order to keep the schedules from changing with Daylight Waiting Time (DST), I used UTC. I calculated mean on and off times for 12 months, and entered schedules for 5 months last summer. As I said before, the process is tedious, so ten schedules is as far as I got. I thought I had time to do the rest later. While I left the entry of the remaining schedules for another season, the MyQ app was updated for the worse. The app no longer allows me to choose a different time zone other than the one used by the phone. Now I get to rewrite schedules for local times, or set my phone’s time to UTC. Thanks a lot for “fixing” you app. You would not want the mere mortals to think machines work for them.
