This app is great!

Perfect for Macro counting
nikkissaw

I tried MFP first because it seems like everyone uses that but I didn't like it at all, I thought it was confusing and not user friendly. My Macros is the exact opposite, it's easy to use, it makes sense and once you get a solid list of favorites going it only takes a few seconds to input your meal information. I love how it shows me the F, C & P breakdown for each meal, it shows me the total I've consumed so far, the amount I have left as well as what my daily totals should be. I can track my weight too!

Food library is great but it’s frustrating to use
beefcaaaake

The food library is large and is great for barcode scanning and it does count your macros. However, I find it to be a frustrating process to add food to the proper meal. You’re not prompted which meal you’re adding food to. So, if you don’t change the meal from your last selection you have to delete it all and start again. The meal selection menu is very small in the upper left corner and easy to overlook. It would be better if all the meals were on the main screen or if you could add a meal from the main screen and then add food to the meal.

Update not needed
MJSanta

This app updates some time ago. Not bad except it took out the ability to “”search” through your custom food entries. This is really just annoying and needs to be brought back. The other issue is the barcode scanner just does not want to work. I can hold it there for a while and it never tries to scan it. The nutrition label scanner also does not seem to work. It will get some info right but the rest it either doesn’t even put there or it puts it completely wrong. Otherwise it’s a solid app to track your macros and see what you really are eating in a day, if you’re honest with yourself.

Prefer MFP
dpingma

This is not user friendly at all. Their recent update removed the option to edit the macros after scanning in the barcode. After adding to your profile, you have to select the item to then edit, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. There isn’t as many capabilities as MFP or MacrosFirst. Would love to have the option to edit macros information when you scan barcodes, but more importantly when you’re creating recipes. I’m only using this app because my coach prefers it, otherwise I wouldn’t bother.

Useless for Keto
RMLimoDriver68

This is an incredibly aggravating app for the keto diet. It doubles my net carbs despite being extra sure each ingredient macro is accurate. I can’t figure out what’s going wrong and it’s just stressing me out. Plus the macros gained from the bar code scanner are rarely accurate, especially with carbs. If you’re doing keto stay away from this app. Lots of hours were wasted trying to get it to reflect reality. Going back to using a spreadsheet.

New update
bh2107

Horrible update, changed where you scan the barcode and can edit the nutrition facts from there.

Loving it
Mango9876

If you are using this app to track macros join them macros Inc. Facebook group for guidance and instructions. Well it can be daunting at first once you get things set up it is relatively easy to use. I love the graphics that help me quickly visually track where I am

Love this app! Using for 5yrs +
Always hustling

I’ve used this app to help me stay on track for fitness competitions the last 5 years and now I’m continuing to use it for everyday maintenance.
