Ads almost unbearable

Comicvine is a great site and the app is perfect for on the go informative comic industry news. However, it seems it's not enough to have banner ads on the bottom, which I can deal with. But full page ads that pop up every minute or so is too much. Especially when you're in the middle of reading an article!! To make it worse, it's easy to miss the close button on the ad and all of a sudden you're fumbling to get back to your article from the App Store. It's a shame really. A great app with great articles and other resources but dragged down by relentless, constant ads.

I used to really love this app. It allowed you to save pics (which is good for me when I'm doing commissions) and they were higher resolution as well. I also don't care for the interface to find characters it is a pain. Fix those problems and my rating will go back to a 5 star!
Love the podcast

Only issue i have is in the middle of the podcast the app just closes, really i just re open and find my place, and the full screen adds are annoying, but hey, got to get paid right?

My only problem is the popup ads

Love the content, but the ads that pop up while I'm reading an article annoys me. I'd pay for an ad-free version. It's that good.

Ads don't bother me since they are easily closed when they pop-up. The main problem is barcode scanner doesn't work very well on older comics. I also would've liked to track the value of my comics but that's not a huge deal. Interface is great and so is searching manually for my comics.
