Does not work

This app does not play video files such as wmv or display pictures in jpg format. It does not recognize the many dlna servers that I have. I have not gotten it to stream any video. Let's hope the developer can fix this, otherwise this app is just a waste of space.

Have to admit, I didn't try streaming nor did I try to view any jpegs using this. So I can't speak to that. The movies I did view (via web, downloaded and streamed) played properly. It's a better player than the default iPod touch's default.

It works perfectly well. Just press the + symbol on the top left corner of the app on your ipad, go to download with Wifi and it'll give u a number . You type that number on your web search bar on your computer and chose the file. That's it, just make sure your iPad doesn't switch off or goes into sleep mode after a few minutes (fix that from settings)
Still no sound after upgrade

My movie I wanted to watch had no sound, movie player told me to upgrade and it would work with all audio. Well, after paying for it, it does not work!! Don't buy it, Nplayer worked great.
Stream from network ?

I'd simply like to stream videos from my network server. When you click the stream from network option, nothing shows up. There are no options to manually configure the network server. I'm lost on this point.

Nas support doesn't work. Won't play all movies. Tried contacting developer and web site just hung. So I guess I'm not getting a refund. Don't buy this app. You got my 3$ but not anyone who reads this review.
No sound with MP4 or MKV

AVI movies work great, but I have no sound with MP4 MKV videos, these videos play fine on my roku and wdtv live, maybe i need a codec?

Prior version no sound with the "completely rebuilt from the ground up"...still no sound. Don't buy this app.
