Doesn’t crash, instant response from Mousr robot when settings change is a nice touch. Not a huge fan of the manual controller, but very responsive.

This app offers several options to go with the Mousr cat toy ,and it is very simple to use. Responses to questions or issues are FAST (credit to Dave for that, holy canolly fast help!!) My cats enjoy the variety and my 3 and 4 year old nieces enjoy controlling the Mousr to make the kitties play. Love this!!!

According to the Petronics website the Mousr is no longer under active development and they are not selling the product. Sad to see a unique product be abandoned. Frustrated that this seems to be the new normal with electronics these days.

This is by far the coolest electronic cat toy I've gotten, and we have 7 cats so we've tried a lot over the years. This saves me a TON of time exercising them, but the best part is how happy they are playing with it. Auto mode keeps improving with every update. If you haven't checked out videos of this thing in action I highly recommend looking it up. They're still in the process of fulfilling backers and preorders but it was totally worth the wait, turnaround times are much quicker now!

This is an amazing product! Not only cat but my crawling baby and 8 year old love this. Baby is excited whenever he sees Mousr moving. It keeps my 8 year old and his friends busy for hours and they never get bored. FAR BETTER than any robot toys that I bought before ( Mip by WowWee, Minion Mip...). It moves fast like a rocket. Super intelligent and high quality. One more best thing: Battery lasts for a long time. For most of the robot toys on market, battery is a headache. But not a problem at all to Mousr.
The developers are sticking to their promise. Mousr just keeps getting better!

I pledged early in the Kickstarter campaign. My wife had doubts because of the delay between paying my pledge and delivery of Mousr. I told her about how the developers were just very committed to a product that lived up to all of the great expectations of their supporters. And how they proved their devotion by frequent updates including details of roadblocks and and ways they were making it around those blocks. Then Mousr came in the mail and, yes it was so-so, but I had faith. And they have, once again, come through as promised. They made and shipped the hardware which is durable and very functional. Now they are updating the brain and truly bringing Mousr to life and making it even more playful and intriguing as a plaything for our kitty. Thank you and keep up the good work!

The app is Not optimized for the display on the iPhone X, Xs, or Xr. The top of the “Home” and “Help” pages are cut off by the notch on the iPhone’s display. (All the developers need to do to fix the problem is move the heading down a few pixels.) I would not normally complain about something this minor in a review nor give a one star review for something as simple as this; however, the developers don’t provide any way of contacting them on their help page nor on their website. The one star is for not Providing a phone number or at a minimum a contact us email.

*updated to 1 star because it’s now been weeks since the app allowed me to connect to mousr. At this point the app is unusable. I just gave up trying to pair my phone to mousr and decided to finally write this review. We’ve had mousr for a little while now and there are a few consistent frustrations. 1. The app will say that your Bluetooth is off, when your Bluetooth is on. While your WiFi is working perfectly, while you’re the only one connecting, while mousr is charged and waiting to go, after troubleshooting, after updating iOS, etc... It just does this over and over. 2. Or if it actually sees your Bluetooth on, it’ll say that no device was found. Watching little mousr blinking away on the floor just a few feet away, awaiting instructions, but the app tells you mousr isn’t there. 3. Limited play modes, not a lot of AI adaptation. I would be happy to pay for additional play modes and more adaptive play features, because cats really require more variety and a $150 cat toy should hold their attention long term. In about 2 weeks though we have exhausted the options and they get bored with mousr pretty fast. 4. No auto-docking setting so that it can return to battery charging station. This, to me, is the most critical issue. I don’t think we would’ve purchased this (in this incarnation) had we known that (1) it burns battery life so fast and (2) it can’t self dock to recharge. If you plan to leave for the day, or for the weekend, and hope that mousr will help keep your kitties entertained, you’re out of luck. I love the simple interface and the amount of options you DO currently have. This is an ingenious little device and im excited by its potential. I think an update that addresses the Bluetooth/connectivity issues is an urgent matter. If that issue is fixed my review automatically jumps to 4 stars. Hopefully they’ll be able to roll out more play modes and auto-docking in the future as well. Other ideas: volume control instead of just sound on/off, different sound packs, a tail tall enough that it can dangle a toy over the cat, a universal attachment you can use to attach any of your cats favorite toys to mousr, and of course, what I’m sure everyone wishes they had included - a camera in mousr so you could connect to it remotely, and drive it around your house to play with and check up on your cats while you’re at the office, school, or on vacation. That would be a major hardware change, but I think a lot of people (myself included) would happily pay for it.
