Aesthetically pleasing, asinine gameplay

Jvst Geoff

I really enjoyed this game. Honestly, I did, but what ruined it for me was the mechanics that required you to check in every 3 hours. My restaurant would start to fail and I would have a hard time regaining patrons all because I got a full night's rest. Not sure what the thought process was behind the whole thing, but I shouldn't need to check my game to make sure everything is working correctly, every time I look at my phone.

Hmm - tooo much time??

This game could be a huge hit for people who are riding the subway or commuting to work - but it would have to take on completely new mechanics of being waaay quicker. Like a tap game or something - because I would love to explore it all, but it’s just not feasible to wait for that long when it isn’t a real strategy game, and it doesn’t have the immediate gratification of a cooking game. Amazing graphics - needs new engine and I know it would take off!

Different

Idk what it is.. but I’m hooked. I love the style of it & haven’t had any gameplay issues.

? CHINESE DUMPLINGS!

NightMagic6

This game is visually adorable (in a monster sort of way) and the music is perfect. After listening to the main music for 2 hours, only then did it become mildly annoying. The monsters are cute (in a monster sort of way!) and the art enhances that. Everything is moving, from the patron humans on the surface and the Sootsoot running your shop, down to each and every monster farm. The monster farms have animation of how the ingredients come to be (I love the Pumpkat!!) and each one is highly unique. Occasional issues with loading the game, but patience won and I was able to get in eventually. The great thing about this game is the potions (you CAN use real money to get these) come to you often enough that you don’t need to use any real money. I spent $2.99 on potions (300 potions) because I love this game enough that I thought its worth at least that. If you want to double your income after exploring, you can watch a short ad or use a Mortal Ad Banisher. I have 17 of those for when I’m offline or the ads don’t load. A 30 second ad at least takes my eyes off my screen for a few seconds. The only problem I’m finding is that my shop is at a level where I need to improve a recipe. Chinese Dumplings. Only problem is: I don’t know the original recipe, crowned or not. There is apparently a restaurant called Monster Chef so finding recipes online is difficult until I found that someone was making a wiki for anyone is dire need. Monster-chef.wikia To the developers and team: please don’t change much on this game. I think it’s perfect, just the glitch fixes and adding more content. (And the ability to scroll on the tutorial and quests.) I saw that someone else skipped a lot of the tutorial like me, so I too am suffering from that lack of info. Translations are off a little, but not enough that you can’t still read it. And Broken Recipes are foreign to me. (Anyone know how to read them? What does the check mean???) Thank you so much!!!

Broken game

Double D Razor

I preordered this game and I got it the first day it came out. I loved playing it everyday but I can’t advance to the second zone, Doom Forest. There is supposed to be a quest to unlock the zone but I haven’t been able to find it after playing everyday since release. I can’t upgrade my restaurant unless I get to the second zone so I’m stuck. I deleted the app since I couldn’t progress any further.

I’m pretty upset

Meansteve1665

After the most recent update on the game, I haven’t been able to play because the screen would stay black and not move on. I’m afraid that if I try to reinstall the game, I don’t want to restart from the beginning. Besides that, I love the game, the art style, and the music.

Farm is full is really annoying

Maxismo

If you can't handle the randomness, just give it a sequence. I got two monsters in the same world are level 21 and 10 respectively, it's a total bummer

lags like hell after the update

Hellodiw

the latest update broke it

Stewed Pork Rice? Help!

fabbbbbb

I have never been so hooked to an iphone game before. This one keeps me checking in to see how my restaurant is doing. It’s like a mix between Pokemon and Diner Dash - so I love it! But help!! I really want to upgrade my restaurant.. i have more than enough coins and potions but I cant possibly figure out the recipe for Stewed Pork Riceeee

Strawberry Castle will never come to be

SamURye726

Now the level up has changed- I have to come up with Strawberry castle and perfect it, in addition to the 15,000 eyeballs. I have been grinding EVERY single day in hopes of one day reaching level 15 so I can unlock the next area. They updated and have made it way harder. I have spent a decent amount of money on this game and it is an original neat kind of game BUT when I cannot enjoy the gameplay because of how blatant the programming is geared to rip you off it tends to be a bit upsetting :(
