A $2 Free Game ?

The game itself is ok, but it gets tedious pretty quickly. It's your basic card collecting rock-paper-scissors game. Imagine the EA UFC game without actually playing. My real gripe with this game is that it is a free game that they are charging $2 for. Energy timers? Got them. Coins to purchase? Yep. Videos to watch to earn more coins? You bet! Very disappointing.

This is a great game but honestly it can get annoying when the game doesn't work correctly. One little issue makes the entire game frustrating. I'm level 29 on green belt in boxing and the BAS TRAINER keeps freezing when dragging the icons and can't make it to 120,000 points. I'm close to having mastered all styles. You should be able to pick the techniques from the styles you want in this game, instead the computer chooses the style for you. There should other styles like Karate, Taekwondo, Savate, etc. This is EXCELLENT game, just needs major work.

Nice turn base but not customizable

The game strategy is awesome. Have to be quick to determine what the opponent can do and what you can do plus conserve energy for the right moment. But......the fighting styles aren't customizable or interchangeable. You start off with 2 styles and a few moves. As you learn moves your library grows but you can't choose which to use. This is good because it adds to the strategy and randomization during fights. The one thing that needs to be updated is the styles. After awhile you learn a third then more. Once you learn another style, one of the original styles no longer show in the fights or is listed under your name as a style you use. At first I was Muay Thai and jujitsu then learned kickboxing. After that my jujitsu, ground game, no longer appeared in a match. I can still train in it but it is not listed as my fighters style. I can't switch back to it at all. I'm now stuck with kickboxing and Thai. It would be nice to have the ability to use all my moves in styles I learn or switch between styles if the limit is 2. Not sure why this is but it needs to be addressed. Also when the pop up for styles appears there wasn't and option to close or skip it. It forced you to choose without notification.

Good concept, good customization starting point, a fun interface, and the collection of gear available is pretty choice. Soon as it stops freezing and shutting down, it will be a 5 star game. Unfortunately, this is a pretty harmful flaw in the game considering you can have spent energy points winning a fight, and have it freeze up before returning to the Gym Screen. Now you're out 2-3 energy points, and you have to win the fight again to advance. This bug has been nothing short of loathsome in these scenarios.

I have really good wifi at my house, but for some reason it takes a while to get a match. Not sure if it's the amount of players or what.
