Typical Microsoft trash

This app is trash. Giving it a one star rating is too generous. It needs to be removed from the App Store before anyone else is jived into downloading it.

We need this Groove for iPad!
DannyGarcia2

The only reason why I don’t give 5 stars is because we really need this app for iPad. I use it all the time on my iPhone, but in my iPad it is a mess, because is just the iPhone version stretched. Please make my day ?

Can’t get my songs on my iPhone and iPod Touch

Ok seriously I’ve tried everything to get my songs on my phone by logging out and logging in and still no music all my files are synced with OneDrive and why is it that groove won’t work on this like come on I love Microsoft but sometimes it’s a pain

Looks good, does what I need

Huge music library. Excellent sound quality. I manage and discover my music account on my PC, so this gives me a clear way to play it on my iPhone. Off-line playing is a plus. Theme stations would be nice. I just wish it could play FLAC files the way Groove on the desktop can.

Won’t “match” your mp3s!
e4rthl3ss

Google play kept trying to replace my carefully selected albums with trashy remasters— and it wasn’t even accurate! Half of the songs on an album would be too quiet, the other half too loud and hash. There’s a way to “fix” bad matches in google play (happens ALL THE TIME) but it’s a huge joke they clearly don’t want anyone to use it. I researched the major services and Microsoft Groove is the ONLY option that respects your MP3 collection. You can upload a vinyl, 90s remaster or anything in between and it won’t “match” the songs and thus ruin your albums. Thank you Groove.

Works great, but one little problem
Devdawg00

I really do love this app. I actually use Groove as the main music app on my phone (I uninstalled the Apple Music app). I really like how I can stream songs I don’t listen to all that much (saving space on my phone), but can download the ones I want to listen to offline. I was able to move all my iTunes purchases to my OneDrive/Groove with no problems. It just works! The only problem I have is that the music doesn’t pause when headphones are disconnected from the phone. But I’m still rocking the iPhone 6s, which has the 3.5mm headphone jack, so maybe this isn’t a problem for the newer iPhone models which use the lightning port for audio? While this isn’t a dealbreaker by any means, addressing this issue would be welcomed. :)

Works!

Got it working. Had to delete my temporary files in my PC. Now it works great. Edit: Broken again.

It works but.

Loosing (groove-xbox-zune) music pass made this app is is just a glorified cloud based music player. And it is very inconvenient to have to upload all my music to OneDrive not in the app. Especially when the folder upload is broken on OneDrive. From being a Windows 10 mobile and 8.1 user and using Xbox music since it came out. Then after the music pass is dead Microsoft adds an equalizer. Not to mention no advertising on network TV, while apple music was even advertised at the Indianapolis motor Speedway TVs. Microsoft has ruined this app/product.

Can’t listen to my music on iPhone!
AlohaMonkey

I had music I bought from Microsoft after years of enjoying my Windows phone. That product is gone....but I thought Groove would let me play my old music on my iphone at least... Cant play anything I bought in the past. Here’s my error: “Due to usage rights, we can’t stream this song...” yada yada add to an offline playlist. I CAN’T!! I bought the music and I can’t download it! Garbage.
