I don’t know why but why I already deactivated Facebook, I couldn’t find any button to deactivate my messenger like before the update? It only have deletion option now.

Since my husband went into a Nursing Home, his daughter gave us upgrades to iPhones. ? I am so grateful that we had iPhones to communicate for his last years. Thanks to FB, I was not alone at home, and could call my Jim anytime. FB has become a staple in my life, connecting recently to ole friends who I might have lost. Even though I have now lived in 5 states, due to my teaching and second marriage, people, even my former students can find me. Facebook begins and ends my day, now that my Jim has passed. I am so grateful for the company of my Facebook World. ? ??.... and my emojis. ?

It’s very important that Facebook puts an update notes, I think everybody deserves to know what each version of the app capable. No need to block us off by just saying we update the app regularly.

The new version is worse than the old one

To be honest, i appreciate the new update of messenger app (like lighter, faster, have app lock or include 3D Touch or preview mode...), But the problem that the UI Of the messenger update version is worse than the old version. When u click on your avatar icon to change the settings, it’s not beautiful as before. Maybe I need time to acquaintance with it =))

Ever since Facebook logged me out I can’t use either apps. I can only use them in safari. And there is no one to contact about this problem.

Fails to notify me with incoming notifications. As soon as I send message, that person goes active even though they’re not. Every single time.
