You can not switch the order of the recordings. I deleted one recording by accident, so to keep them in order, I had to re record almost 40 long lines.
Needs more content

Good concept but needs more topics and content. Not many options. I thought it might unlock a lot more when you pay for it. Not worth buying.

Informalities
If you want to verify an upgrade on a new device, you might try to look in your iCloud email. That resulted in my previous frustration. All issues resolved. I adore this app. Pay for it! Rebooted my phone and this app forgot that I paid for the upgrade now. It freezes every time I try to ask for my upgrade privileges. Very frustrating. Here is my review when it remembers that I paid for the app and am able to make more than three recordings. "I never buy apps. But I love this one!" 5 Stars! "Best tool for memorizing scripture or poetry or anything really. Go on and buy it and use it. Hide God's Word in your heart!"
Good app with a glitch

I like the app, but every time I use it it tells me that it can’t open the App Store, then I press ok 5 times to this message, then the app closes, then I open it again, press the message a few more times and then the app stays open until I leave it again. I like the concept of the app, but it would be nice if it did not have this glitch on my device (iPhone 5s). It could be the phone, but this is the only app in my phone that I am having this issue with.

Effective memorization tool

I've been using recordings to memorize lines, speeches, etc. for many years. This app makes it even easier. A couple of features I would like to see in future versions: - The ability to reorder recordings. Being able to chunk out a recording is great, but if you want to insert something or change the order of the chunks, there's no way to do it. - The ability to re-record a section. I'm using this to memorize an original work. In the memorization process, I'm finding small tweaks in the text that I want to make. I can edit the custom text, but I can't swap out the recording and make a new one. - The ability to loop a set of recordings by turning them on and off when in playback mode. This would allow for making a series of much shorter recordings and build the set of recordings you're interested in focusing on. [UPDATE: This feature is in the app. You tag recordings with a keyword and can filter based on that keyword.] - Memorizing "backwards" - Many years ago my high school teacher taught me a trick for memorization that dramatically speeds up the process: start with the ending and build from there. In other words, memorize the last phrase first, the add the phrase before it and go to the end, then add another phrase, etc. That way you're always starting with the least familiar part and moving to the most familiar. This technique easily makes the process about 30% more efficient. I would love a training feature here where it repeated 10-15 seconds of the recording then rewound another 10-15 seconds and ran through the end, then added another 10-15 seconds, etc.

Update 2: I still really appreciate this app, but just wanted to say I found another glitch. When I tried to move a recording higher in my list, it changed the name or the recording to one of the other ones. (None were lost. It was kind of confusing.) I wonder if it had something to do with the "next" button being on "random," but that's a guess. Update: I bought the app for only $.99, and feel it's well worth what I paid. However, it has a couple of minor glitches that only happen occasionally but they are easily worked around. 1) There are times it simply will not play anything, but that is fixed by closing the program and then reopening it. 2) Sometimes it will play your selection so slowly, it sounds like it is completely broken, but if you tap the speed button and tap a different speed and then back again, the speed works properly again. A feature that I would like to see updated on here is the tab system. I would like to be able to select more than one tab at a time. I think I would up this review to 5⭐️ if this feature was added. Original review: I have not had it long, but I have not had any problems with it. I’m thinking seriously about buying it b/c it’s so inexpensive and useful for memorizing. Maybe after I’ve had it longer, I’ll update my review. Unrelated to this product: The most important thing you can do in your life is to secure your eternity. Read the Bible to make sure you know what God says about it. Here’s my personal summary: Turn away from your sinful ways (lying, stealing, lusting, coveting, self-centered ness, etc.) and give yourself, heart and soul, to Jesus Christ. (He is God in the flesh.) He died in your place to take the punishment for the sins you have committed and will commit. There’s a ton more to know, so take your soul seriously. Stop watching movies and playing games and dig into the Word of God until you have figured it out between you and God. Don’t let anyone deceive you. Go to the source—God and The Bible. Spoiler alert!!: YHWH wins. (Get on His side before it’s to late!!)
