This app works way better than the android one


Plagued by connectivity issues

Used to love the app when it was Clarity but now it feels like every other time I log in there's an issue with my connected accounts so I can't trust the numbers. I have popular banks like Chase too, nothing super obscure. If I can't trust that the numbers are fully up to date, the service becomes much less useful for me.

Unavailable service, and not up to date information

I have had the app for two weeks. Almost everyday, there is an outage. In addition the investment account gain/loss is never accurate. Comparing to other financial institutions app like Chase, Fidelity, or even small credit unions, the Marcus app is not that good.


Latest version has issues

Updating this review since they brought in “Clarity” features…now the app constantly loads and gives a “technical difficulties” error and the app stop updating (I’m talking about the refresh that is supposed to happen whenever you open the app). I’ll force close the app and try opening again and maybe, if I get lucky, the app won’t have the technical difficulties message. This has been ongoing for a few months now. Please fix!

I have the iPhone XR version 15.1 and when it opens, it just closes right away.

The app is really simple to use and the visual aid are absolutely great (that’s the main reason I like that app over Mint) BUT not all the data passing through. A lot of the charges on different account are not depicted on the app Even after updating, refreshing and linking again the accounts, the charges are missing (the main point of the app is to keep track of expenses and it’s the main problem as well…)


Cant login when traveling outside US

Login gets blocked if i try to access the app when traveling. Which is a huge problem- I am unable to have access to my account when I may need it the most.
