Connection issues

This is a great way to legally read many series, WHEN THE APP WORKS. This app seems to have major connection issues, where it will work fine for a few chapters, then suddenly it can’t connect to the server. I’ll usually try to reconnect for a minute or two before I move on to something else, regardless of how absorbed I was by whatever series I was reading. If they could fix that, then it would be an amazing, nearly flawless app (my only other complaint being the lack of some major series that I can’t be too hard about because I’m sure they tried to get the license for them), but as it stands, I feel I have to give it a somewhat low rating.

I have been unable to get past the "verification" screen that has been continuous for the last week or so. It will not load past this no matter if I open the app from the home screen or from the actual Crunchyroll main app. Uninstalling and reinstalling do not fix the issue nor does logging in or out of my account.

Why I cannot read seven deadly sins? I keep getting a "not correct error" message Authentication doesn’t work anymore. I can connect and sign in on the web browser but the app doesn’t work after the iOS upgrade. It seriously needs fixing. It used to work perfectly. Now it hangs forever.

My app is up to date and I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but it just gives me a screen that says "authenticating" and doesn't say or do anything else. It also doesn't have all the chapters to the manga it offers. Example : Attack on Titan starts halfway through the series and won't go any further back.

Pumpkin?
Ok, I love manga/anime. I tried this app for 5 minuets and I couldn’t even read Fairy Tail (btw Fairy Tail is a really good anime). When I found a manga I could read I could only read the first chapter. This is really annoying because I can’t afford/my parents won’t pay for the premium mode or whatever. I do like this app and I wish I could use it.
Great. But occasional technical difficulties.

An absolutely enjoyable app that makes reading manga easy and provides a decent catalogue to keep you interested. Perfect for breaks at work. It is smooth with good bookmarking and setting options, and easy to navigate. Technical difficulties however, are what keeps this from being a 5star. 1. “Authenticating” - sometimes the app will simply not load, and reinstalling it may or may not resolve this. 2. Minor, but page skipping can occur. Especially when going back and forth between pages or after moderate breaks between swiping to the next page; you will occasionally be directed to a page ahead of your proper destination. This can be identified easily by keeping an eye on the page number. If Crunchyroll can ever spare some staff to work out, at the very least the first problem, I’d be willing to give this app a 5.

If you aren't willing to pay for a premium membership, then don't get this app. The reason that I put 1 star is because the creator is technically taunting the poor people that don't have money by giving us a free app, but making us buy a premium membership simply to read ANYTHING past the first chapter of ANY manga.

This app would be excellent if it actually worked. Half the time it can't connect to the network, a quarter of the time it'll crap out mid-chapter and the other quarter it works like it's supposed to.

The app is well designed and when it runs it is smooth; when it actually runs. The app has constant server connection issues, so have a backup plan ready when this app doesn’t work. It has a decent collection of manga, but not all the big name manga. If they ever fix the issue with connecting to the server, then this app will be a great way to legally read manga. But right now I cannot recommend it, because the majority of the time you will not be able to connect to the server.

So, I got this app bc I wanted to read the original mangas of my favorite animes. I thought I could read them for free but I can't. You have to have a Premium Membership and I have the Free Membership. I was quite disappointed to be honest, but if you Crunchyroll makes it so that you can read the mangas on with the free membership I would be glad to make it a five-star rating. Arigato for reading!
