I shop Macy’s a lot and I use the app often. I don’t like that items show available, I add to my cart, and when I go to checkout the item is unavailable. I tested this today and within 1 minute the item went from available to unavailable. Once it’s in my cart, I should have a timeframe that allows it to stay in my cart and checkout before others are allowed to add it to their cart. I’ve also noticed the items being “unavailable” often coincide with price drops. For instance, a ring I was looking to buy dropped to $93.00 last week. On Friday night it was available at $93.00. First thing Saturday morning, I checked and the price dropped further to $37.20, but it was no longer available. Unavailable all weekend. I check again first thing this morning and it’s available again…for the original sale price of $93.00.

Macy’s app is really customer friendly and easy to navigate. I enjoyed shopping and found a few beautiful items on clearance. Thanks for well thought out website.
Sign in problems

I’ve never seen anything like this only with the Macy’s app. When you log in to the app sometimes your password works sometimes it doesn’t. I changed my password so many times thinking it was actually me even though the password would auto populate because it was saved to my phone. So one day I decided to sign in on my laptop after the app said I had entered the wrong password and sure enough my password was correct. The Macy’s app for some reason hit or miss when your password will work. I even tried filling in the password and it still would not log me in saying I had the incorrect password. So now if I need to log in and the app won’t let me due to in their crazy app world “incorrect password” I go over to the internet browser log in and do whatever I need to do. So no more changing my password a million time because of a non working app.

Very user friendly, love to use it, I never have any issue with this app. Even my mom, Spanish speaking older lady has learned how to use it and enjoys ordering online.

Why does the app no longer show the full sale price when you scroll through items? It’s only when you click into the full item page that it shows the current (and lower) sale price. I have items saved in my favorites that I would have probably purchased but I didn’t know the price was lower than what I was seeing. This doesn’t seem like it’s doing wonders for your sales figures Macys.
