Reviews

I use it every day despite several crashes per hour
Clarityman

... and now pop up adds cannot be rejected - please fix tho important app!

Too many pop ups
JimButcher

Seems to be a reintroduce “feature”. In the past is was not a bad problem. Able to use the send to a reading list and finish up article in the browser. A good list of articles, but ads are very annoying.

Obnoxious Ads
Werfgghj

Echo similar comments. The app has lots of great information, almost totally overwhelmed by totally obnoxious an obscuring the content, and being hard or impossible to delete. The biggest offender is Amazon.

Can’t Leave no Stars
Egonj

I think even 1 Star is too much. This app has basically become a spam app. All you get is Ads and can hardly read an article for having a pop up ad show up that you can’t get out of until you go back to the main list. Even then, it might not let you ever view the articles.

Dang ads
DavidEGo

The ads get in my way from enjoying the app, especially the Amazon app which hijacks the whole story. I have to click out and go back—sometimes 3 or 4 times to read the entire article. Now I just read a 1 or 2 sentences at best. Before they got beer crazy, and having interns tap kegs, MDN was more focused and truly enjoyable.

Ads are out of control again
Steveruno

Back to being unable to read the articles.

WTH
incarnato80

Can’t start to read one article without an add making it impossible to finish the article. Seriously? I have to close the app out to try again only to be sucked in again. Awesome

Apple should remove this app
The_Vig

If this App doesn’t violate Apple Store policies, then Apple needs to revise it’s policies. That pop up that forces you into that “lucky Spin” should be banned. I respect advertising on free Apps but this is just flat out Spam that makes the app unusable. Deleting immediately.

To many advertisements interrupting
TWIT ARMY

This app used to be stable and quick. Now it has to much advertising causing it to load improperly. The stories are broken up by ads within them. Then when you try to make a comment on the story the ads interrupt your typing even 10 seconds. Which then leads you to clicking on a link which takes you out of the comments section and lose everything you typed before. FRUSTRATING! I deleted it because it is just not working anymore.

Great Site, Horrible App
Aldarion

Great site but I no longer use it every day. Besides aggressive banner ads, the app tends to launch the App Store to link to advertised apps. Having to shut down the App Store every time I select an article got tiresome. Apple insider or iMore are much better apps.
