The digital dollhouse

A child could spend hours arranging and rearranging the furniture in the four different houses that are in this app. Even more fun, though, is the way this app can be used creatively. One way we thought of was to take multiple screen shots of the same house after making small changes and see if the child can tell what's different. A second thing we did was to see who could make the wackiest house with silly furniture combinations.

Little House Decorator is a fun, engaging app that allows young children the opportunity to be creative. Once your child chooses which house they want, they will have fun picking out furniture to fill every room in the house. Once they are done, the child can take a picture of the finished house, and move on to a new house to decorate.

A Therapy Tool!

This is a great application that can work on expressive language, receptive language, following directions, prepositions, grammar, and more. This could be used between a therapist/teacher and a student, or in a group of students. I see this working in a barrier game sort of activity if you have access to more than one iPad. The list is endless. If you want a fun activity to use in therapy, this is your app! =)

Where do I start! I'm having a ton of fun myself playing with this app. Birds singing in the trees (tap the trees!) you can move the cars! There's NO ads no worry about kids buying anything as the parental controls are great! Now back to the app :-) pick a house oh my that's so much fun. I have and it's MINE *lol* seriously you tap to choose a house and a truck pulls up to decorate your house. Everything you need is up top and just like a doll house have fun! Hang pictures in the wall put in kids, toys, kitty, couches, tv and more! You pinch to zoom in and out - tiny fingers are going to enjoy this!!!! I could go on and on about it. You can snap pictures or return to the neighborhood and when you return to your home all your items are still there until you remove or select the trash can to delete (entire home contents). I HIGHLY recommend this and potential for use is there with therapy for special needs kids which I have. Imaginative play is a big deal here having a child on the spectrum. Also talking about the items you're using. This app is to me worthy of more than five (5) stars and worth the price as well. Have fun and the sky is the limit and I am sure as time passes and updates in future that this app could grow into something even bigger. Jump App has done what no other app developer has done with a doll house type app in an area that was truly lacking IMO. Get this app do not wait its worth it and you'll have a lot of and clean up is super easy and no stepping on small parts or losing them either :-)

We purchased this app when it first came out and it's just so much fun! Very easy to use and move things around for even the little fingers. Lots of cute sounds and hidden goodies to find. I might play this more than the kids do. ;)

First, I will start by saying that I appreciate any app developers that have a child's best interest in mind, which seems to be the case here. No in app purchases & one that offers some educational or creative benefit. Proper use of the English language & grammatically correct spelling is always a bonus that is increasingly rare these days. With that said, this app starts out good but seems to lack a lot to keep a child interested more than 5 min. I would suggest interactive elements like, being able to turn tv, lights & appliances on, running water etc. Also, instead of having to scroll the whole tool bar to find something, having items grouped by room would be much more convenient.

I really love this app but I think it could use some work. First of all, it only gave you a few houses. Sometimes I don't want to take that work away but I want to use that house again. Next, some of the houses don't have good kitchen chairs. But over all it is really fun!
