Hopefully the story is continued! I've enjoyed this!

Great game with amazing replay ability

In spite of a few punctuation errors I found this to be a true rpg that is never the same twice

Good Adventure, Bad Story

RayearthIX

I want to like this game much more than I do. The story is full of quests and adventure. Managing your party and getting stronger is great too. My problem is that, when reading a game (as opposed to playing one), character interaction is key, and it feels as if there is none in this game. Best example: you can get married, but unless they are in your party, you will essentially never see them again. Same with friends, and acquaintances. Even then, your best friend might be in your party, and the game refers to her as 'the thief.' These issues cause the game to feel sterile, and as such, I can't rate it as highly as other similar games.

Great!...But

I loved the story and how much say we had in determining our characters skills . very nice and descriptive scenes involved too however i wished that the other characters involved would be more..Alive? As in they talked more and showed some personality making the reader care for them. But overall I liked the game alot! 4 stars for story, choices but somewhat weak with other characters involved.

Pretty Good

The story is really a bunch of encounters throughout the entire lifespan of your wizard, thus the game plays more like the oral history of a D&D character. It's pretty long on the first run-through. The choices you make (while fun) have little impact on anything other than what skills you get proficient at as time goes on. For example, spending your whole life being evil simply adds to your evil meter. This has almost no impact on the game, because the other characters still interact with you in about the same manner. This one is worth the purchase price despite its flaws. If you like D&D or Lord of the Rings you'll dig this. I did.

Worth It - Fun and Replayable

Self-improvement junkie

I never thought I would have spent as much time as I have on a game like this, but it really well-done and my favorite so far of this kind of game for the iPhone. The sheer volume of content is impressive, and it is polished. Coupled with an active imagination, this game can be played again and again. It even has achievements, of which there is one I still haven't figured out how to become an bishop, let alone an archbishop.

Best choose your own adventure

This sort of thing isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I found it very enjoyable.

Fun read...

Honestly, most of the 5 star reviews are on-point. One of the better game-books out there ?

Phenomenal

I actually enjoyed this game much more than so many of the other more graphics oriented games I've played. Definitely worth the money to support this awesome company. Great replayability, too!
