This application is compatible only with LG Smart TVs which are released in 2012 or later. If you own a LG Smart TV released in 2011 or before, please use the “LG TV Remote 2011” application.
You can use LG TV Remote after pairing your TV and mobile devices through the same WiFi network.
The Mini TV feature might not be available for certain channels due to provision of contents under copy protection regulations.

If I could give negative stars I would!! Every time I try to do anything a freakin commercial pops up so I have to wait for the commercial to get to 5 seconds before I can exit out of it. This happens about every 15-30 seconds and it is the absolute must frustrating thing EVER!!! It’s just too much so I’m uninstalling!!!! Y’all got some work to do if you’re trying to make this an even decent app cuz it’s a train wreck all up through it!!!

All of a sudden it won’t connect to my tv. I do the device scan, and nothing comes up. We used it for over two years with no issues and one day it just quits.

I never updated the app in 2016 because of all the poor reviews. Please kindly update it! A huge assumption here, but please don’t assume that a TV model that is only a few years old is going to be trashed and replaced by a new one so soon. We live in a throwaway society. I hope my TV lasts at least another decade or more to come. Please regularly update and improve the app (& TV software updates) out of consideration for your huge following of customers. Thank you!

The track pad on the app hasn’t worked in the last year. There also seems to be no updates in the last 2 years.

Bring back the ability to select something by tapping your phone screen when moving the cursor over an item. Now you have to the click the select button on the bottom of your screen.
