Another complaint about blocking VPN use
LSSR22

Why oh why would this app block use of a VPN? Please stop and consider all your subscribers sitting in a public coffee shop connected to a public WiFi using a VPN, exactly as every security expert in the world says to do. If this is not fixed very soon I will be canceling my subscription and switching to the Washington Post. The NYT does not block VPN use, and there is absolutely no excuse for the LA Times to be doing it.

Feedback
Highflyinvi

Dear LA Times, Please add a feature where I can tap on home and it takes me back up to top of the page, like the NYTimes app. Also, I don’t see the point of the eNewspaper. Thank you.

Much Better
Mark Lucaswalker

This app has improved ten fold since the last time I used it, which was when it was still owned by Tribune. Thank you! I prefer it over Apple News (?). I would give the app an extra star, only if possible, if the dev team made links from email newsletters... wait for it... auto open the LAT app! And not Safari :/ 5 stars!

There’s a glitch
oaxaca213

Whenever I scroll through an article it automatically pauses anything I’m listening to.

My Favorite App.
Daddy John Chavez, Jr.

Love, Just Love this L.A. Times app. Can read the E Newspaper much easier now. Has all kinds of informative sections I can enjoy.

No longer supports VPN
dankencity

Very disappointed I can longer use the app on a VPN—even with a paid subscription. I hope this is just a glitch and fixed soon...

App not Fully Synced to Apple Accounts?
Annh89

I am a subscriber via iTunes. I am able to access the app and read all the articles in the app. But the app also doesn’t seem to (fully) think I have an account—the articles are open to me but I don’t show as a logged in user (if I created a unique password I don’t remember it and reluctant to try to create a new one as it might break the syncing that does seem to be working). What’s annoying is that when I read articles outside the app (using Google News and/or Chrome, for example) it’s assumed I don’t have an account and I have an article limit. I’m invited to set up an account through Google.

Do not subscribe!!
Oh C'mon!!

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months. Multiple emails and call to customer service with perpetual holds. Just don't!
