You'll find everything The Star writes about KU basketball: stories and blogs by beat writer Jesse Newell and insider Gary Bedore plus columns and analysis from Sam Mellinger, Vahe Gregorian and Blair Kerkhoff.
New sections on the app include:
— Jayhawk Analysis: The latest columns and blogs breaking down the team
— The Jayhawk Legacy: History of the program, stories on championship teams and past legends
— Videos and photos: Relive the action with photo galleries and video reports
— Rosters, schedules, TV times, results, stats and more
This is the best Jayhawk app of all of the ones I have. The combination of in depth coverage, analysis and insights of the various sports and competitors are well written and relevant to the particular sport being covered. The personal stories draw you into the lives of individual athletes, providing a sense of personal attachment to their backgrounds. It's become my go-to app for all Jayhawk's happenings.
Usually too little, too late. App doesn’t even create content, only job is to use KC Star content. Why bother if you’re not going to put the effort into it. Bol Bol story from 11/20 still on here.
This app is pretty awesome. Great Kansas Jayhawk basketball coverage. My new favorite app. A++++++++
It's the day after the first game and I can't find a box score. Most of the stories are stale, maybe that will change when the season gets going. The old Lawrence Journal World app was good until either the writers left for the Star or the LJW ruined the app so the writers left for the Star. Either way, I hope the Star can make it what it was at the LJW before it went bad.
Love all the content. Thanks Jesse, Gary, and team. KU hoops is my go to location for all my KU info.
Since the Star limits how many "free" articles I can read each month, this allows me to keep up on KU Hoops without maxing out my views.
My wife and I really enjoy your app. My wife is not a techie, I read or tell her about the articles you have. It is date nite in our house whenever KU football or basketball plays on TV. TOM & Jan Thompson
