Always crashes mid workout!

kenziebeerod

I absolutely love this app but every time I do a workout the app crashes mid-workout! The app doesn’t save partially completed workouts either so I have to close the app, restart, find he workout, and start over. Please Keelo, I love you, but you’re killing me!

Closest app to a personal trainer!

OneCornerstone

Keelo is what I’ve been looking for: practical, adaptable, motivational, and challenging. It’s not like Sworkit or 7 where you just do body weight exercises. Instead, it tailors functional workouts with body weight or actual weights to fit your needs. The best part: it tracks everything for you: reps, times, which muscle groups, and completed workouts. Love how they have the contests and community to keep us motivated. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Add bonus point for contest for members who complete all of the “Today” workout. That way we are encouraged to include the warm up and cool down and be more thorough. 2. Some rest day workouts would be nice for a point, like a mile walk/jog, stretch sessions, cardio using body weight only, etc. I tend to crave activity even on my rest days and find myself doing long hikes outside, but unfortunately I cannot earn a point for the Keelo contest doing them. I get that they want us to get credit for High Intensity workouts, but there’s value in those simpler activities on rest days too. Love the app!! Thank you guys!!

Great app!

Excellent workouts, helps with decision fatigue especially for my early morning workouts. Good scaling options and the filters make it easy to select workouts based on equipment, space or time limitations.

Perfect for garage workouts

laurenmarie0186

I have a lot of equipment in my garage, but I found myself spending more time looking for and modifying workouts than I actually spent working out. With Keelo, the work is done for me. I tell it what equipment I have, and it gives me workouts. I love it.

Contest is fake!

T Wilz

It hasn’t been tracking my 2 entry’s and it’s a new contest so I don’t know why it’s not doing what it’s suppose 10 per week 2 entries a day and yet nothing

Like the app

Is a nickname necessary

I like the app overall, and like most ppl I have some ideas to include that I personally would like. First off, I’ve always like the types of cardio they give you than the traditional LISS. I also prefer to do hypertrophy/bodybuilding type of workouts and try to incorporate Keelo with them since downloading the app. I’m mentioning this for ppl like me who enjoy both and want to try to benefit from both bc in my opinion Keelo isn’t optimal for hypertrophy, if that is a priority. Can it help with hypertrophy? Yes to some degree. Is it the best for optimal hypertrophy? No (IMO). I do a type of hybrid you could say. I do a push/pull/legs routine on/on/off repeat rotation. The first workout of my rotation, I will do a push hypertrophy workout but exclude shoulders just bc Keelo heavily involves shoulders (and legs) with their conditioning. So usually I will do 6 sets of two exercises for chest and two exercises for 6 sets for triceps. Then follow a conditioning workout that incorporates pushing type cardio. Push press, thrusters, hr push ups, etc. For the second on day I will do a pull with no hypertrophy focus and use a pulling strength day that Keelo provides like deadlifts, power cleans etc and then a pulling type conditioning workout. Then for legs I will do a hypertrophy workout and depending on how I feel will depend on if I do a conditioning workout after, which usually I don’t bc they are taxing on the CNS for me. By the next push rotation it is putting it on a second ON day which will be a KEELO strength and then a conditioning and then the next day will be a pull hypertrophy workout etc. so within one week every muscle group is getting hit twice once with a hyper trophy work out any second with a strength workout. My strength has already went up since the trial period and have not lost much size (keeping caps only 250 under maintenance) so I shouldn’t or at least hopeful I won’t. Now that I’m done rambling things I would possibly change. 1. When you are performing the workout and it is showing you the exercise to do. It would be nice if it listed in a row or gave you the option of them them during the timer so I knew what was next instead of having to run to my phone to remember what the next exercise is. (especially as I’m getting fatigued. I forget what’s next haha) 2. It has a great exercise collection, but when you go to the conditioning, for example, they are always in the same order. I would like to see a refresh drag down that mixes them up bc it’s a lot to scrolling to see them all especially when there is 400+ workouts with only two a row. 3. Would like to see a few more exercises like sled pushes/drags, jumping jacks with MED all overhead, rope slams, muscle ups, etc. 4. On your home workout page for the day for conditioning or strength workout is nice that you can do to a different one. I wish there was and option where I can go to the conditioning library and click select for today’s conditioning workout to replace the current one. Instead of pushing the refresh until I find one I like. I sometimes do but nice to have that option as well. If I select one that I want to do for the day hat it’s not recommended it also doesn’t put me in an entry for the contest. 5. I know most ppl are honest about entering the contest but there is not gym location saying your their so I could do it from my home for an entry. I know IncentFit has a gym locator and I use it for work bc I get reimbursed so maybe an option. That’s not a biggie to me really. Again, I love the app so far and plan on subscribing! Hope this helped some ppl!

Love it

Crossfit workouts at an affordable price and at my convenience!

Awesome App

dr.esj

I have done CrossFit for several years but recently made the move to training at home. This app provides intense workouts that are scalable and efficient. I also like the tracking statistics. Workouts can be scaled by available equipment and ability level. You can select available equipment while traveling and filter out movements when injured or sick. Great app for absolute beginner to advanced.

Getting back into High Intensity Training

Is so easy with this App, and inspiring me to get right back at it for the next workout

My only hold up is that I would love the ability to enter custom lifts. For example, a 1x1 PR test. Other than that it is a great app!
