Jan. 2021 update disappointed! More ads!!

I purchased the full features several years ago to get rid of ads, unlock camera and get more puzzles. New update brings back even more annoying ads from its app developer, adds coins for no reason (only to annoy users, even kids didn't like it), and more purchases required to get puzzles!!! The new update basically undid my original purchase! To the uses who are contemplating getting the in-app purchase: you won’t get much! You’ll still see ads, and you will have to pay more to get more puzzles.

I’ve been doing theses puzzles for a long time, no ads, and this change is annoying!

This wasn’t just the best puzzle app, it was one of the best apps, period, for entertainment. It has fallen to the bottom of the stack now. And I really miss it! This new slide out menu couldn’t be more of a pain! The bottom menu was perfect because everything was available in one click. Now, if you want to see the image overlay, it takes three clicks, then if you close it, you can’t just get it back in one click as before. And you can’t turn it on an off to easily compare your pieces to the full photo. Why even bother having it at all now? It’s useless. And the tray? It was so nice to have several trays to sort into and pull up as needed... again with one click. Now there’s only one tray, and it’s huge. Takes up about 20% of the space, and there’s no easy way to organize the pieces. Plus, the fake wood motif is UGLY! And you can’t move it around the board if you’re trying to sort in pieces from different areas. So it’s also useless. I’m so very disappointed! My favorite app is now my least favorite. I miss the much better UX of the previous version. Developers should consider doing some wide-scale user testing before screwing up what used to work so well. And, look at it this way... if you make the app convenient to use, then we get puzzles done faster and without frustration = more fun for us. It also means we’ll purchase more puzzles more frequently= more sales for you. Someone should have thought that through before ruining what was a fantastic app.

U dont really want this review
Don’t know what is going on,when I tap on any puzzle pkg I get plan a getaway to a peaceful cabin in the woods etc, $9.99 great value,this is on for sale puzzles not my puzzles????? No problem now,it went back to normal the next day.I really don’t like the last update,all the buy this and get one free,solve the mystery,etc.It’s no big problem because you have the best puzzles.When I liked a puzzle I would wait till it went on sale,that doesn’t happen any more,so I’m saving my coins for one now,I looked,I can’t buy it with coins.I’m almost 84 years old and do lots of puzzles and my kids have me locked up because of this awful virus.Don’t worry every thing is ok now.Just thought I’d tell you what I didn’t like about the update.Stay safe folks!! Do you close up or something,the puzzles go dark at 6 o’clock cst and I can’t get any more puzzles.

I’ve had this app for years & love it. SO well-designed, and the 400 piece option is great for a challenge (and without having to worry about my cats destroying it while in progress, as happens with actual jigsaw puzzles!). Always a free daily puzzle, several free puzzle “packages,” and the option to use earned points/coins to “purchase” packages in addition to actually buying them. I also like that you can use your own photos to generate custom puzzles. My 78-year-old father plays this app on his desktop computer and really enjoys it, as well. Highly recommended!

I enjoy them because some days I just want to work the smaller number of puzzle_-no brained. Then other days ones that are more challenging. Really like the vivid colors, also the fact they are different cultures and the explanation as to where they are located. Thank you for providing enjoyment with education.

Current redesign is terrible

This started out under Mobilityware as a great puzzle game. Now trying to keep up with competitors, the design is awful. While working on puzzle, toolbar is on the side taking up valuable work space, toolbar needs to go back to the bottom. Need to return four sorting trays. One tray is as useless as not using any trays at all. Also, selection of free puzzles earned by points is limited to ones nobody would want. Please redo. Thanks.

The gameplay is awesome and the variety of puzzles is great but the ads kill the experience. SO MANY ADS. I don’t know if this company is going broke or they are just greedy but enough with the ads, let us play the game and do the puzzles we pay for without having to close 4-5 ads after every puzzle.
