Addictive and time consuming

A Real Step Back

I loved infinity blade 1 and 2, they're definitely one of my favorite games on the App Store to this day. However infinity blade 3 took these great games and proceeded to ruin them. The first thing that strikes me is the combat. What was once a fast paced battle in which your fight was based purely on skill has devolved into a grind/pay to win fight. The second thing that was made into a shadow of its former self was the speed of enemies and your own attacks. In previous installments the rhythm of attacks whas "hithithithithit" or if you combo attacked "hithit, hit, hit, hit" now basic attacks are similar to "hit. hit. hit. hit." Increasing the time to battle to several minutes each.

I really do love this game it it’s in dire need of a remaster of some sort. Animations could be smoother, polygons could be added and texture resolutions could very well be upped. Voice acting and sound design are a bit too compressed. General fixes and problem that require a remaster to fix. But amazing game. And please don’t be blind sighted with your future as only being fortnite. You can find success in other projects like this one.
First 2 were better

Although they added some cool new stuff a lot of it seems unnecessary and feeling more of a free-to-play but pay-to-win game style despite having to pay for the base game. It’s very cluttered with crafting and forging as well as having to switch back and forth between two characters which both play differently and must be geared up separately. It’s an ok game but it really doesn’t live up to the other two games.
A “MUST” have series. If you game in IOS, then this should be in your catalog.

Great graphics and very entertaining. I’ve been a fan since the very first Infinity Blade.

I was just fighting the collector and he had 2 HP and I think because of that he went on a 16 shot combo and I blocked all of them till the last 2 and he killed me why so much of a combo please fix.
