Saving issues are a deal breaker

Like many others here, I really enjoy Idle Armies and even bought the golden devil to support the devs. The game has solid mechanics, witty writing and addictive gameplay. It has everything you could ask for in an idle game. I would easily give this game 5 stars but for one glaring issue. Lately though, whenever I go on, I find that I’ve lost most of my progress from the previous time I played. It’s really demoralizing and makes me not want to play anymore. It was fun while it lasted but I can’t justify playing again until this glitch gets fixed.

Annoying bug, great game

The game is great, i like the idea of both armies progressing simultaneously but i keep getting a big that keeps cutting away hours of progress. Occasionally the game will glitch while switching locations, and not let me switch screens. Then when i force close the app to reset it, it puts me back hundreds of steps. Last time it happened, i lost around 2 hrs of progression and it has happened about 4 times in the 3 days I’ve had the game. Would be 5 stars but this bug is really annoying :/

I ❤️ the game! This isn’t the only review like this. The game has problems with deleting your progress. When I downloaded the game, I read some reviews about people losing a couple hours worth of gameplay when logging out or “switching” in the game. I played for about 10 minutes and then logged out, it seemed like it could be kind of fun but when I logged back in a little bit later, it was as if I made no progress, LVL 1 still. I wish it didn’t bug out like that, I might have enjoyed it.

I like the game and options to change sides and carry different stages is really nice but I lose all progress when I close the app . I have made it to lvl 80 and close the app to only have it restart and set me down to the very beginning. This is very annoying and I am losing interest in this game because of it . I spent some cash and lost that also?
