If you don't have the book "The Human Face of Big Data" this app will do nothing for you. It is an augmented reality app that recognizes where you are in the book and then plays related video content.

I thought I had downloaded the wrong app. The interface is not easily read. I'm pretty sure everyone just wants to click snap and see videos, not create "auras" yet my simple request is lost amidst the barrages of tutorials for making an aura. If I am overlooking the obvious please let me know but its main function should be immediately accessible; I shouldn't have to search for it.

This app serves its singular function moderately well. My main gripe is that there's this intrusive pop-up banner which appears at the bottom of the screen every 10 to 15 seconds reminding you that you can DOUBLE-TAP TO EXIT. This incessant reminder is as idiotic as it is annoying! The implicit assumption is that you can't remember this simple instruction for more than a few seconds and need to be constantly reminded.
Constantly crashes

Saw this on #CNN read through the tutorials, registered, made a channel with a description- I'm ready to create an aura, right? No...crashed after making the channel, now every time I launch "my channels"-CRASH. iPhone 5 iOS 7.4 Did your team beta test this app before going live? Disappointed, I keep the app so I can look forward to immediate updates. Oh, and please remove the "Harry Potter-esque" animation of "Aurasma", it looks amateurish.
