Got this for both my cars. Like most I didn’t know you had to buy a 20$ pack for a specific car brand. Thankfully both my cars are the same brand and this is working very well for what I got it for. I dabble in mild mechanics, try to fix what I can and if not youtube it. From what I see there is a whole ton of info you can view from this device/app combo and most of it makes sense. However a lot of it is too far advanced to understand for a shade tree mechanic so maybe having a guide available in PDF format or even having a description show up if toggled under each piece of data. Look forward to using this in the future to maintain my cars without breaking the bank.
It took me about 15min to set it up and download all necessary software for my Toyota. Once everything is set up works great but it won’t show engine temperature or transmission fluid temperature which is the main reason why I buy it. I would give it five start if it has ALL the live data info. I return it at Walmart with no problem. If they come up with an update with stronger reading capabilities I will buy it again.
Well hooked it up to my 2010 Dodge Caliber and it wasn’t reading but my car has a cold start with flashing lights I figured give it few tries but after 20 minutes I switched it over to test on my 2015 Dodge Ram that’s working perfectly fine the Reader once connected started to run diagnostics it said it’s not compatible and to buy the Dodge software for additional $17.99 which after buying this at Walmart for $50 you might as well take the extra time to drive to a O’Reilly’s or AutoZone and buy a better code scanner.
I followed step by step to make sure everything goes well and it’s successful. Just need to connect through Bluetooth in the setting and turn your car ON so everything will be goes great. Just need to follow correct information. Im gladly I spend little bit more than other models. First vehicle is free then pay $21.99 for addition vehicle. Still worth it! I used diagnostic so I can know which code reader to replace for the air conditioning.
But if it would do coding to my vehicle it be more stars..be like other apps that can do that amd more
So far the app work but the packaging is very misleading as they don’t tell you have to buy car packs for over $20 each. You get one free and that’s it. So for a multi car household like mine it will cost you more. Would have got a higher star review if they weee honest about the costs.
would give 0 stars if possible. requires verification code to register but they never send the code
App worked great but then i got an update and now the app crashes every time i try to open it iphone x 11.4
App Crashes Everytime I Open It Wasted My Money Buying The Device For The App To Crash Everytime
Tried registering, I get zip. States verification code sent to email but nada. Tried multiple times different phones different emails still nothing.
