Can't get past 1st level

Wanted to play this game cuz I thought that it was beautiful. The pieces are easier to see too. The problem is, in order to unlock the next level, you need 5,000 coins but it only gives you up to 4,000 coins and I can't get past 4K coins to able to unlock a new level. This game is set to screw you over.
