Skills of Hero tactics2 have various powers; you can summon monsters, attack the enemy, or recover your Health point.
You need manastones and recharge time for Skill Activation. Recharge will commence when the battle starts or such skill is used. You can activate skills using manastones right after recharge is completed.

The Skill differs in its features depending on the manastone color.

Very fast paced. If you want to grind you can or there is a one dollar IAP. Which is reasonably priced. So far so good. Fun and lively.

Just a name

Sigh. Yet again we meet an app that wants you to believe it's free to play, with optional in app purchases, but it's sadly not the case. You will reach a stage where the enemy has become so strong, so suddenly, that you will think 'surely I must have done something wrong. I must have missed something. But that is not the case. In fact, the reality of the difference is so large, that the game throws it's own rules away. The enemy, as yourself, will have been, as it should be, relegated to spawning monsters at a pace dictated by the gems they collect as the match wears on, (though you never see them collect them it is implied by the speed and consistency in which they spawn.) Additionally, you must wait a few seconds to reuse that enemy. However, all this is done away with about 20 stages in, for this one particular boss. I call him Pay-wall Pete. How does one giant impossibly high health boss monster before you can even collect enough gems to summon a low level night sound to you? Fun? Great! Does he want to spawn 3, incredibly fast moving high level ogres at once? Sure go ahead! How about another wave of 3 so close behind it, the laws of space and time cannot compensate for two objects occupying the same space, causing you to involuntarily shoot goats milk out of you nose? Absolutely! This is all to say nothing of the horrible Engrish translation. Please don't waste your precious time, like I have. And to the developers: If you make something good, people will pay. It's that simple. Why try and prey on the stupid? There's less money in it for you. Morons.

Poor English translations and a somewhat fickle control system take away from what otherwise seems like a good game. Also, the upgrades for your skill tree are very expensive, but maybe that gets better if you finish more than the first two areas. I don't plan to play any longer, so I cannot say for sure.

Should be a zero rating. You cannot get far without having to buy stuff. Gamely is also crowded and at times unreadable. Nice graphics though. Pass on this.

I find myself swearing as I try to use skills that just don't want to seem to cooperate. That's gotta be fixed before I even look at it again.

Super fun with no IAP needed

Excellent game! Would gladly pay for an online multiplayer versus mode. Had a great time playing through the entire game straight today in under 8 hours with no IAP. 3 stars first try on most stages, but also had a blast with the few that required totally different strategies. SPOILER: If you are having trouble, focus on Red's FireVolt and getting Blue to the Undead Lancer. 1-3 levels of Green's Recover helps until you can get Blue's Wings of Blessing which heals all rows despite the bad english translation. Focus all attackers on one row for the group attack bonus and avoid bosses to finish before they kill you.
