Unfortunately there isn’t an option to use our VPP card and the discounts aren’t able to be processed at HEB GO partner kiosks.

First time

I do light shopping, so, this method of shopping was easy. I don’t know how if you are shopping for a family. A separate area from self check out would be less confusing. I’ve seen people not understanding why some are allowed ahead of them Also The checking of a few items can require more room and attention depending on the amount Separate area would be more efficient Kyle, Tx 78640

The best thing you can have. Save you time And the H-E-B is the best in San Antonio.

Too much interaction

Not ready for prime time yet. After scanning everything and going to special checkout you have to scan a code, then wait for an associate to verify your cart then go back to the checkout and finish checking out. Sam’s has this right H-E-B get a membership and learn how to do this. Current system is NOT convenient.

Checkout Process Needs Improvement

ARiv1

The HEB Go app is a nice thought, but the Scan and Go app and checkout process at Sam's Club just works better. For example, this app doesn't scan UPC codes on clearance items, so you have to go to a register staffed by a cashier, making the app useless on trips when you're buying a clearance item. At HEB, you can use the app to pay, but just when you think you're done checking out, the attendant has to come over and scan your items again. After she does that, you have to interact *again* with the touch screen to say that you're done, which seems like an extra, unnecessary step. I guess when the attendant scans your items, it prevents "inventory shrinkage," and is similar to Sam's where you have to have your receipt and a sample of items scanned on your way out the door, but so does everyone else at Sam's. In contrast, at HEB, the process just seems awkward and doesn't really save any time compared to just using the standard self checkout terminals.

Too slow

Too Slow

Glad to see the app, sorry it disappoints

This app feels like watching the movie Catch-22. Nothing but problems trying to get started. Starting with setting up an account. Choose a password: must have at least 8 characters, must have at least one number, and cannot have spaces. Uhhhh…no. No where does it tell you that you must also have a character. No where does the error message tell you you must also have a character. Ok password done. Now HEB has all your info and can email glad to you, great. Just try to use the app, now you are told YOUR HEB, the only one you have in town, does not support this app. Go to another HEB, BTY…you will need to guess which one does support the app. I just erased the app and went to Whole Foods.

WiFi Problems

BiteMe3xs!

Often I’m unable to use this service because the WiFi won’t connect. Or at least that is the excuse the associates give me. I don’t really believe they know what they are talking about. No one seems concerned with customer service enough to find out.

Useless

This is supposed to speed up the process. Yet, the fact that after I check out someone has to come and check my work is ridiculous. 8 items had to be scanned to make sure I wasn’t stealing anything. Next time I won’t do your job for you and will make the cashier scan all the items and put them in bags.
