This is a hidden gem! It’s takes awhile to learn the gameplay but once you do it’s a really good game! There is plenty of strategy and empire building great for an iPhone game

I have a pc and I also have games like hoi4 but I still sometimes prefer this. I highly recommend this game but you might have to spend some money on in app purchases if you want to play the entire thing

So I love this game. The graphics, mechanics, and so many other added on things from other games. The senate feature is AWESOME! I love how each faction has there own special unit. But I do have a problem. This game is very hard. Whenever I play on the same side as Rome, Rome gets absolutely slaughtered by the Thracian and Carthage. They also lose in Spain and Gaul. But when I play against Rome, no matter which faction, Rome always seems to do really well. They may lose the war in Spain, but they hold off Carthage, and defeat Macedonia and Thrace. It’s so annoying that no matter what I do I can’t seem to Win the conquest. Now I haven’t done much campaign, so I will update this review later.

This is one of the best mobile games I ever played and might ever but there not updates the last was 10 months ago I wish they add more maps like they could do Pompey and Caesar Rome civil war, spartan uprising, or make it where you make your own empire that’s made up (not historical) you can make allies or enemies you can start war or finish it with other empire by playing money to end and to start it can like broke trust or something like that (friendship that can make them help you in wars) it can start with one city or a small empire or anything new at this point those are some things they could do to improve the game but over all the game is super good if you never played it and are it to historical things.

I don’t see historical games much on the App Store,so when I found this one I decided to give it a shot. This game is brilliant and I recommend it to anyone who likes history or strategy

The point is for Rome to win. If you haven’t sided with Rome at the beginning you have about 30 rounds before you get invade from 3 different sides ?.

This game is way too based on rng than strategy, especially in campaigns. At one point, I lost to due to running out of turns because my cavalry didn't take a second turn and capture the last city or town after killing a legion. It's just no fun man, all lost because the 60% chance of taking a bonus turn didn't happen. Also the campaigns where I have to protect the my fellow AI is VERY HARD. I always have to constantly surround them with my own legions so they don't end up killing themselves for no reason. If the stupid AI isn't making the campaign insanely difficult, the campaign itself is very hard and confusing, like the battle of Modon. In this battle, I start to question if the devs even test the battle, because the Battle of Modon level I find is very much impossible, like IDK how people can pull it off. The battle feels very easy then later, you get spammed with legionnaires, heavy armored cavalries, and javelineers. When I managed to defeat them and finally focus on the last 2 cities, I have ran out of turns. Is the goal here is just to wait until I get good generals or I upgraded my army good enough so they can beat out the heavy armored armies faster? This game is just rigged
