Notification with google calendar doesn’t work

I would love to have the tasks and google calendar tied into one application. When I add tasks from the google calendar, I rarely get notified. I don’t know if they sync correctly or what else. It would be beneficial to completely integrate google tasks with google calendar and get rid of the separate google tasks application

The email link function is awesome, but why can’t we make tasks recurring? That should be a simple feature to add.

I want to see my tasks on my Home Screen, with out having to open app. In Android I have a widget which is perfect. Is there something like this for iPad?
