Needs work

I don’t use google maps for driving or directions. Mostly because I end up getting lost whenever I use it as a navigation. The arrow don’t point in the right direction your facing and sometimes I’m on a different street than the one I’m on. Granted I’m using the app in Japan at the moment. Also as a note some freeways are above main highways, it would be nice if it detected that as well. Not everything is bad though, it is a good app if your looking up places and need to find out information on where you want to go. I’ve noticed that companies tend to update their hours of operation on this map more than others. One other thing is I wish I could edit the colors of my pins or change the icon for the saved list. It would really help me organizing the map that I’m saving. I do use it a lot and I’m hoping to update my rating and review to this. If you search online there are a ton of people wishing the pin and icon can be changed. I’m sure you guys can figure that feature out.

Getting worse everyday

Why remove the summary when you select location? The links to Wikipedia were awesome for exploration and learning. Google should fire its inept MBA wielding product owners, it’s quickly becoming nineties Microsoft.

Speed limit dispel covered

The speed limit option is great, however it is only viewable if the phone is held in portrait view. It is covered when phone is held in landscape view.

Only one issue

I really like the satellite maps. They help me a lot in my work as I often need to use unmarked access roads. I just wish they were updated more often. One map still shows a building on the satellite image that was torn down 4 years ago.

Looks like google got carona virus. Your maps are dead. I give my time to write a review. Due U have time to see my msg And Resolve it. Thanks

Google map

Much easier than the default one ‼️

Been better

After update, on iPad the speed limit covered ( not that it’s 100% accurate all the times ) Location on the map way down on the screen. Sometimes when at traffic light the direction changes as if you going backwards. On average OK not great not horrible.

Google Maps is #1

As someone who from

Lost it’s touch

Google maps used to be my go to gps app however for the past few days it has lost its touch, keep giving me wrong directions and spinning me in circles when the place I’m looking for would be literally close by, again this just happened as I am typing I had to rely on Apple Maps instead. I’m a door dash driver and I rely on gps, google maps big let down I will never use this again. Google maps will literally send u on the highway or bring you in circles for an address that is literally up the street from you!!! Shame on the developers bad app

Why did you mess with landscape mode

My OCD is going crazy with this new landscape mode. Half the screen is not being used and your cursor is now to the far right instead of centered. Speed limits are now gone too. Who thought these were good ideas? Fix this ASAP.
