Google HomeIs not worth tome and effort

We have had these devices for two and half years. We have had to remove and reset the device by Customer Service “assistance” to get the device up and running to fix problems. We use this to control our kids devices. Every few months, we have to call customer service and reset the network under new parameters so it can do its job. It also take 30 minutes to to set back up when they tell you to unplug and to get the network back open. This product has been terrible!!!!!

Using a first gen google WiFi here, I hope the google home app can show usage (download/upload) in addition to speed, just like what google WiFi app can do.

Great aid, plenty of possibilities, but limited command structure

My main complaint is that is impossible (at this point at least, except in some unique situations) to have a simple conversation with Google Home. Even if you find a song or a theme you like, you need to start each follow up sentence with the “hey Google” greeting, even if it’s just to lower the volume, or stop the song, or dim the lights in the room. That’s not very difficult to accommodate, is it?

Original mini was great. Easy to set up and add lights. This one is horrible. Can’t add lights doorbell or cameras. Can’t find anything All it wants to do is add crap for me to buy

There needs to be an easier way to switch WiFi’s I had a real hard time figuring it out. Overall I think the app needs a more user friendly layout.

Is this issue ever going to be fixed? It’s been over a month with time set at 10pm to 6am. It’s annoying when my Lenovo clock brightness turns up at 6am. Please fix, I don’t want to switch unless I have to.

The google home is a great purchase it is a great source of Healy for quick fact checks and information but one of the few thing I don’t care for about it is that at times I will be talking to someone in the same room as the google he mini and it will just say some random fact about something we were talking about eve though no one called it. I don’t believe the whole the government is spying thing but at time you can tell they get monitored. But overall a good buy. Hope this review will help make up your mind on buying a google home.
