I was really excited to get my clock hooked up, but there are so many things that you can’t personalize or change anywhere in the app or on the clock, specifically with night mode. I can’t change the duration of night mode, or the cricket sound, or the color of the screen I want. It honestly has been a bad purchase because the only reason I needed the clock was for these things and the alarms.

So, I have a mew phone number and since google bought Nest you are unable to use you email account as a way to recover your nest account. Andy you can’t create a new nest account you are FORCED to use the google app. It’s horrible compared to the nest app. The nest app more intuitive, user friendly and easier to set up.

Using it for 3 years now: Horrible, crashes, doesn’t listen to commands, I constantly send feedback and complaints but no response. My smart light always disconnect from it, Netflix, smart plugs but works on the app. Have to constantly unplug the device for it to work. It turns on by itself. Got it as a birthday gift that’s why I haven’t switch to Alexa (guilt I guess).
