Routines are hidden on iOS while on Android I can see them

azaricstefan

Routines are hidden for some reason on the app in iOS while in android I can use them.

No longer works

Urataco

Currently google home no longer works in terms of connecting the app to the google device, no matter if the device is brand new or old, or you are using iOS android or a tablet. I’ve spent too many hours working with technical support and the community support and they are unable to fix all of my google products and have not given any solution to my issue. Fact is they no longer care about you as a customer

If it can go wrong it will

This is so frustrating

Adaptable but needs work

Higgins238

Great ability to add cross-platform devices but the user interface needs some work. This sure is ugly. It would be great to see all/most devices without having to scroll through the whole list. Maybe a favorites tab? (The HomeKit app from Apple is great to see overall summary)

Horrible

KMA-FTW

This new app is the worst thing that has happened to our best cams. The original nest app and the features it had was perfect and now we hate our cams due to this new app we have to use. Can you guys plz figure out how to get an app like the original nest app and have it run the old cams we bought in 2021 and the new one we bought in 2022 on the same app please? We hate this new app

Far inferior to older nest app

JFO627

I have several nest products in my home, including a nest doorbell which are supported by the nest app. The app works seamlessly with all of the devices. When someone rings my doorbell I get a picture on my watch. I recently installed a newer nest doorbell on a second entrance. I was forced to use the google home app. This app is inferior in every way to nest. For example, although a notification is sent to my watch when someone is at the door, there is no picture to identify who it is. I believe google has the expertise to fix the problems, but they do not seem interested. They should either upgrade the app or let users choose the nest app

Google Flood Light Camera

btferg

well built design & hardware integration of flood light/camera. screws were too long for surface-mounted electrical box. Glad I kept short screws from my mounting ring. I will recess electrical box later & flush mount flood light/camera because it will look better. only complaint is Google Home app does not integrate w/Nest app, i.e. door bell (wired) & 1st generation camera. I have to use 2 apps. :-(

iOS app makes iPhone get hot, runs battery down

DrPepperSoft

The Google home app makes the iPhone run really hot unless the app is killed. I was wondering what was draining the phone battery and realized if I viewed a nest camera in the app but didn’t close the app by killing it (swipe up) then the phone would get progressively hotter. Please investigate and fix.

Doesn’t connect to Nest

Gdhhbb

Sporadic connection with Nest thermostat. Wi-Fi thermostat is useless without ability to operate remotely. No help with support desk at all. Taking Nest back because of app dismal performance.

Google Wi-Fi Constantly Disconnecting

Asdfghjklzxcvbnmrcub

I can’t even work with these Google Wi-Fi nodes anymore. I’m not giving you another dime. I’ll find another mesh network that actually stays up. The whole network randomly dies. The devices look like they’re fine but the internet won’t work and the app won’t connect to them. Try doing some QA testing before pushing updates live for once.
